How to fix a ground issue in my garage

I guess if you are getting too much RF Noise/EMI you can build a Faraday Cage to surround the radio.

How to fix a ground issue in my garage

The radio might not be designed with the same RF Noise suppression as the Dewalt. I understand that one works and the other does not, this can be a few different things. I have an older radio that gets ok reception depending on where the antenna is placed. I usually wrap it around the...

Anyone here used a WEN drill press before?

I have looked at HD and Lowes amoung other big box stores. The Ryobi and Skill seem really crappy. I figured the Craftsman was in the same boat but Im actually impressed as to how well everything feels. Performance is another thing. I did check out a floor Porter Cable as well and it seems...

As stated above.... there are more than enough oil free Craftsman compressors to find a tank because they all have trashed pumps

Show off your toolbox organization & clean tools!

To the OP.... it is called ATAF. All Tools Accounted For. I was a 6469 in the USMC and a Collateral Duty Inspector. At the beginning of a maintenance action (repair), at a work stoppage and when the worker returns the toolbox key you must perform and ATAF. If you "pencil whip" and ATAF...

My old barn turned low budget shop...

Just be careful when you retract the reels. We used to have a similar setup and a tech let the hose go while it was retracting and it messed a door and mirror up prett bad.

Anyone here used a WEN drill press before?

I have done some searching for drill press info and most people here seem to lean towards the vintage Craftsman/Delta/Rockwell etc. I cant find anything local. What I do want: 5/8" chuck and more than 1/3 HP. So this limits me to about a few models unless I did a floor drill press, Id...

    2 post lift wheel adapters

Nope. I wouldnt get under that. What is the point of that anyway? Flatspot the tires from prolonged sitting on the adaptor, cant service the suspension... not to mention that it doesnt look safe whatsoever

New 24’x34’ Detached Garage with Attic Trusses

This is a great build. I love some of the garages on here but they are much more than a practical add-on or remodel. This is great because you used all of the space accordingly, everything has a spot and everything came out excellent! If you dont mind me asking, what was the finished cost for...

    Insulated Garage door

I dont know what most of you are basing your opinions of insulated doors/nonheated garages on. Ill give my experience. I have a heated garage with an insulated door and insulated walls.... I used to have a single pane 1 piece "swing up" door and it would get hotter than hell in the summer...

20x40 slab is unlevel on the width...how much slope is too much?

With that slab being that close to the house, Id assume that it was done purposely for drainage as mentioned above. Can you contact the company that did the pour? Maybe contact the realator/previous owner and ask more questions.

    Metal cabinet suggestions?

I bought a Kobalt hanging wall cabinet and I am pretty pleased with it. It was a bit more money than I wanted to spend but looks nice hanging on the wall. It is pretty heavy duty for what it is.
