    torx versus phillips

I love Robertson bits, they work VERY well. Torx are nice for grip but I break a lot of bits, mainly in automotive use. (snapon/matco/craftsman, you name them)

How to quarter a brake rotor?

It all depends on what you have access to. As long as you have a steady hand you can go with any of the above-mentioned methods. Personally, I like plasma cutters but if you are free handing it then there is more room for errors. the cutoff wheel (larger the better) is more accurate but...

I covered my walls with 1/2" drywall after I put insulation in. Some things that you should look out for when installing insulation: Buy the correct width rolls for your stud spacing. Examples. 2X4 studs with 16 inch on center spacing (that way it fits correctly) Insulate around door...

3/8" ID air hose or 1/2"? Is 1/2" rediculous for a home garage?

Flooring industry folks NOT invited... The rest, read this..

I am on the fence about limiting them and letting them roam free. Bushmechanic is kind of onto something. I would limit bashing and drama but let the vendors post freely (no spam or sales pitch BS) As he mentioned, it gives all of us a chance to see other members "face to face" with a...

    Rolling Tool Cabinet

What kind of budget are you looking at, if you dont mind me asking? Why not shop around for a nicer used Mac/Matco/Snap-on/Cornwell roll around? There are always smaller boxes for sale (used) that a tech is trying to upgrade from and recoup cost to pay for the new bigger box.
