Wiha Wiha 40 piece screwdriver set on Amazon $119 shipped

I currently have Craftsman for all my drivers, I'd like to upgrade my entire driver drawer, which will include Flat Blade, Torx, Phillips, Pozi-Drive. This set seems to be comprehensive, but after reading some of the other threads, there seems to be some discrepency over where these are made. In...

Wiha Wiha 40 piece screwdriver set on Amazon $119 shipped

So I'm in the market for a screwdriver conversion (trying to eliminated my hated Craftsman), and this looks like the set! I was going to convert all my drivers to Witte, but doing so would well upwards of 300 bucks! How would you guys compare these to a premium Witte? Also, what sort of storage...

    Let's talk Mig Welders

So I've been thinking for a while that I'd like use my tax return to buy a mig welder. I've looked all over, high end, low end, new, used. I'm fairly certain that a small (suitcase) 230v mig would do the trick. I'm not a full time fabricator, but would love to have a machine that will handle...

    Matco air ratchet

No, its not really. No impact mechanism to it, just pure twisting force. And they are a bear to use. And LARGE. I go back and forth on whether or not I would like to own one, but one thing is for sure, I wouldn't want it to be the only 3/8 air ratchet in my box. I don't think they are selling...

    Wire Crimping set

I didn't say it either, but my enthusiam for the crimpers that we both mention implied it.

    Wire Crimping set

Mercedes Benz provides solder-filled **** connectors, connectors with lots of our replacement pig-tails, etc. Work very nicely - crimp and heat. Takes care of the shrink wrap as well as the solder inside. Have seen them elsewhere online, but $$$$.

    Wire Crimping set

When it comes to crimping, buy and use only this: http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item.asp?P65=&tool=hand&item_ID=15611&group_ID=797&store=snapon-store&dir=catalog Perfect crimps are a mandatory part of my job, and a less than perfect crimp will lead to big issues. When it comes to stripping, I...

A Message for Pedro Snap on! PAGING!!!

Just yesterday, I took in two craftsman wrenches back to Sears that I believed the open-end had flared on, and they replaced them. They never even asked me for the reason of my return, nor have they EVER. EVER. My Snap-On dealer though, eff that guy. I swear that he weasels his way out of...

    Found a Lincoln jack today

Totally Jealous. I can't wait until I find a USA-made jack with cobb webbs on it. People have no idea what they are worth, they can't see past the bells and whistles and high ratings of todays Made in China jacks. haha, "But it says Craftsman on it?!"

Who makes the KX series round head ratchets for Sears?

I don't hate my 1/4" fine-tooth round head Craftsman at all, I actually love every time I need to use it. My 3/8'' finetooth craftsman, however, is typically the last 3/8" ratchet in my box i ever go for. If it weren't for their 'supposed' ergonomic design, I'd use it alot more.

NAPA Blue + Yellow handle screwdrivers Made in Germany !!

Apparently I was high on illegal drugs when I was looking at the country of orgin of these screwdrivers. I did my homework, here is what I found out: All Top Torque sdrivers from Matco have been German Made, the difference between I and II being the handles. HOWEVER, regular Matco screwdrivers -...

    Form Fit Tool Trays

I found this incredible little product a couple of weeks ago, have not heard any talk about it on this board. I asked my Matco driver to find me one, and he had it for me the next week. After I showed just a few guys at the shop, nearly every one was calling the driver asking for him to order...

About Cordless Tools - What does more VOLTS really get you?

Consider This - As said, VoltsXAmps=Watts (power you can use). The amount of load you put on the drill will increase the amount of amps consumed, the amount of "throttle" you give the drill will typically increase the voltage sent to the motor. Think of amps and voltage like as a water hose -...
