How to: Calibrate a split beam torque wrench

I also got a detailed manual from Precision Instruments regarding calibration, repair, maintenance, and general construction of the tool. It's worth a read if you're curious about how these work https://www.dropbox.com/s/33jskc8hy7g8gxk/Split%20Beam%20Repair%20Manual.pdf

Cornwell - Allied KL-5 Battery Cell Tester

Looking at it, it seems to be just a simple volt meter. The two way needle looks as if to measure the absolute voltage if a cell, without consideration to positive/negative polarities In short: volt meter with a guide to try and correlate cell voltage with cell condition

The cost of sentimental attachment to a ratchet set

Hey man you're on here too eh? :) I wonder if it would be possible to repair them with some newer parts. What's happening to them? Skipping teeth? Pop it apart and see if the teeth are actually broken vs. Just have gunk in the way that stops them from grabbing

How to: Calibrate a split beam torque wrench

Not going to discuss checking calibration or machines or anything. There are enough threads on how to do that. This is purely on how to make the adjustment itself since I've been unable to find anything that explains how Anyhoo.... Look on the side of the torque-wrench opposite the adjustment...

Calibrating a split beam torque wrench?

I should also say that I'm making a big assumption with this in that the screws on the side have something to do with adjustments. I'm not sure if that's true or not
