    Anybody make this?

Space limitation. A non ratchet box end is thinner than a ratcheting wrench box end. I work on a Subaru STI and I often find that my ratchet wrenches won't fit over the fastener.

    Anybody make this?

Hey bart, thanks for all the info but I don't like those wrenches with a 12pt socket at the end, and I don't need line wrenches. If I can't find some wrenches like those made by Mitoloy I may just get the ez-red. Oh and superautobacs, money isn't an issue as I have a sugar momma that buys me...

    Anybody make this?

Those Mitoloy wrenches are exactly what I want, but those EZ-red wrenches would work too. Although I have never heard of EZ-red, are they good quality?

    Anybody make this?

Do you guys know if anybody makes double box (non ratcheting) flex wrenches? I would even settle for combination flex wrench (non ratcheting), but prefer the double box, thanks!

Does your Truck guy replace socket no matter what?

This is why I like craftsman tools, they will replace abused tools no questions asked. I recently warrantied two punches at sears and the girl didn't even look at them, took less than a minute to warranty.

    broken tap extractor

I broke a 1/4-20 tap, and the way it sits makes it pretty much impossible to remove with anything but a tap extractor.

I looked up the Walton tap extractors and they meet my strict criteria, I shall buy a set, thanks!

    broken tap extractor

I'm in need of a tool to remove broken taps. I found some on mcmaster carr's website which look pretty cool. Looking around for other options, what are you guys using? I tried searching but didn't find anything.

Just got em' and I like em'. (Pics)

I have the same wrench sets and mine were flawless as well, I love how sk sells complete sets of tools. I hate how craftsman and gearwrench skip certain sizes. Then just like said before, if you try to fill in the gaps the individual prices are really expensive!

I've wondered about this as well.

It's one of my favorite tool websites. I've spent thousands there and will continue to do so in the future.

    Problematic Proto Ratchets, Part Deuce

I have the same problem! In fact I was about to buy a repair kit and decided to look on here first, good thing I did. I bought a set of three ratchets off e-bay, a 1/2" long handle, the 3/8" like in your picture, and a 1/4". The 1/2" and 1/4" work great, but this one really got on my nerves so I...

    Dimple Dies

Wow, that is a great price for the 4140 set. I bought a JMR set a couple years back for over $400 I think it was. If I was in the market I would pick these up in a second!

Looking for a descent quality air drill for a good price

Do pnuematic drills really have that much torque? I always figured they were limited on torque and would only be useful for drilling lots of small holes in sheet metal. How does the torque on a 1/2" top of the line air drill compare to lets say a cordless 18v li-ion 1/2" Milwaukee or Makita?

    Where to buy proto tools

Sorry, hate it when I leave out critical information, I'm in Los Angeles.

    Where to buy proto tools

I've only been able to find two places that sell Proto, Grainger and drillspot.com. There has to be more distributors right?

    help me choose new wrenches!

Although you didn't list it, I'm a big fan of SK wrenches. Reasonably priced, complete sets(unlike craftsman which pisses me off) and I have never had a problem with their tools even when abusing them, i.e. hitting a wrench with a hammer to try and break loose a bolt.

Are you guys using the muffler it came with? I tried mine out for the first time today and man is that thing loud! Wondering how much of a difference it makes.
