I use my impact driver constantly and it has a socket adapter in it probably 90% of the time. Is it a farm shop or what is the main use of the shop? Do you live where it gets hot /cold? Two small doors would lose less heat/cold than one big one. Are there really big vehicles that would be coming into the shop? Then one big door would be better. Depends on the intended use of the shop. H

That roof on the lean to looks very well attached and rigid and my thinking is to follow his recommendation. If there was more flex, then you might get away with just putting the posts on the concrete. Beautiful design by the way H

A big tackle box works well for separating the small connectors etc

Don't know if it's possible without knowing the area but if you went with a 4-12 pitch on the garage, couldn't you just run a single roof all the way to the edge of the lean too

If you can live without windows, I would recommend it. Windows take a lot of wall space that could be used for cupboards, hanging tools etc. I built my garage/shop without windows and do not miss them at all. H

Just offset the corner glue blocks to they are recessed on the top side and stick out on the bottom side H
