True, it just so happened I was putting a toolbox together for a third car and these just meant I didn't have to pull screwdrivers from other nooks and crannies.

That is why I am still on the fence. I may end up just buying a little 12v impact drill driver/ screwdriver set that bosch offers for hobby work as well as the makita subcompact around the house. OP maybe that makita subcompact is something you should look into.

If somebody with a 3d printer wants a challenge... make one of these. Actually I have been kicking around getting a printer for awhile, and making socket trays may be the final straw.

I got the clearance impact, but couldn't find any batteries when I was looking. Hell I dunno where the clearance shelf even is in my HD.

I think somebody could do some business here. This beats my idea of taking some wood and drilling our appropriate sized holes as close as possible. This style of socket trays are my holy grail.

This may be posted somewhere else, but Ace has the Craftsman 5 pack of either Phillips is slotted screwdrivers on sale for $5. All of the ones at my local Ace are USA made. I know there isn't a ton of craftsman love from many, but it is hard to scoff at that price.

Have been debating a new set of toys to celebrate the removal of an unceccesay amount of craftsman raised panels from my tool boxes. The Carlyle set of ratchets takes the place of about 12 raised panels lol. Was in ace for non tool related reasons and I stumbled across a red hot deal...

Last time I was in an Ace with a ratchet they insisted I couldn't get repair kits for my old us made stiff, I've not gone back go that one.

So pulled the trigger on the Napas today. I am pretty happy with the fit and finish. That is the napa compared to the 44996 1/2. The craftsman screwdrivers btw are on sale at Ace for $5. Still US made. Definitely thinking I may pick up a Williams 1/2 long.

The husky ratchets I have played with seem to have a lot of take up to actually engage a tooth compared to other brands of similar teeth. Is that just me?

Those are them, I am rather fond of the few craftsman that I have, but debating on the merits of crawling through ebay to put together a matching or near matching set. VS buying other sets. Of course I don't need the 3/4" size.

Yeah, that is what I did. There is no charge as they were already making a trip, and my Napa matches their prices to online prices (I guess not all Napas do). So by 3pm I will have them in my hands. It'll me dangerous if they have any mid-depth sockets in there.

None of them around me had them in stock, but when I called to check they put in a transfer from their warehouse. It is a same day delivery type thing for them.
