I think the 1/4" set they pictured have the blow molded trays, but the 3/8" in my picture is the cheaper thin one. Judging buy appearance. Really any brand of tray with this small of a footprint is what I want. Below looks like it is blow molded.

The Great Neck set specifically calls it a Tray.

Not necessarily trying to get away from the 4499x series, as getting away from all the raised panel sets that I have. My 4499x series is currently my go to.

oem tools, though great neck makes something similar that may work with all of my more traditionally shaped sockets. I also already emailed them to ask if they would sell the holders on their own.

I really don't need new sets of sockets, though I am tempted to buy a set just for these holders. I like the footprint of these organizers. Can anybody think of something similar that I can buy just as a holder?

Yep, those are ordered and will be waiting for me this afternoon. in the non cushion grip. Now, I have to decide on what to use to replace my flex head, as well as my long. I am leaning toward the GW 1/4 and 3/8 long fine tooth, and perhaps the Williams S-52EHLA 1/2" for the stiff work...

I think I may pick up the Napa Carlyle set today. I am on the fence leaning towards GW for some long handled ratchets, though I really like the Williams EHLA ratchets mentioned above, maybe I will get one of those in 1/2.

These are quite comfortable, mine are from that same period. I like these and will keep them around, but want to explore other options.

I gave it a closer look, and saw that as well. The heads on the napas just look thick like the cobalts.

I dig some of oem tools stuff, almost tempted to buy the socket sets just for their holders.

The Carlyle stuff looks like cobalt, any ties?

Just did some looking the 1/2 long handle is more than the set of 1/4 and 3/8, but so far I like them a lot.

Anybody know if gearwrench offers their set in a long handled version? Right now the Williams ehla set is appealing.

The new Kobalts caught my eye as they have a set of the new 90t, but the set isn't the same as the individual ratchets. The set seems to be of inferior quality.
