I haven't tried it but I heard its not very good. I think there was a tread about this at one time. I think Ryan posted it? It's been a long time so my memory is a little fuzzy
Dave I'm not overly concerned about COO as much as I am about quality. I have a set of China Gearwrench wrenches and I like them just fine. It's not as nice as my USA craftsman but they were cheaper and seem good enough for me
You could always have the wrap changed if you don't like it later. I'm thinking of wrapping my electric orange box or at least parts of it. I just want to see how it looks
The last rebuild I did had the same issue. I had to play with it a little to get everything seated right and it worked fine. Mine also swapped the ball bearing/spring for the pin/spring. I think it made it easier to put together.
I wonder what happened to my tool? I haven't seen it in a while.
Thanks for the info. I like the lower profile of the bonester because when my car is on ramps it's still a little tight so the extra inch would be nice. I think I'm going to order one.
The offset oxygen sensor socket is a major fail. It's junk, the oxygen sensor gets stuck in the socket and it's a pain to remove. I guess it gets wedged, last time I tried to use it I had to use a malot to loosen it off the sensor
I've never paid much attention to these bu they look nice. How do you like yours? Does it roll well? I saw try have an "off road" version but I like the lower profile of this one. I'm just curious if it rolls well on uneven surfaces. I'd probably use it on blacktop from time to time so it's not...
I think they have problems with their site. It's slow and the other day it was down when I tried to order. Many things show out of stock but later it's showing in stock
Has anyone tried the Snap On Retention Spark Plug Sockets? Seems interesting instead of a rubber boot it's tapered inside to hold the plug. I guess it wedges it in the socket and it says gentile side pressure releases the plug from the socket
