Jerry, What's needed to blow-in insulation on a 4/12 vaulted ceiling? Does one have to build up supports or firring?

What R-value should I use on the ceiling of my garage? I am located in Southern Indiana and plan on installing R13 in the walls....R30 is really pricey...any suggestions?

So where is that point? Would 250,000K be way too big for my application?

Can a heater be too big? I have calculated my heater needs to be 150,000btu's for the coldest day Southern Indiana sees. If I were able to purchase a 250,000btu heater for a fair deal would there be any negative effects?

Scott, Did your install require running gas line underground? I've been told to use the Poly/Plastic line, but can't find it at Lowes/HD ??:headscrat

:thumbup: Let's put it this way, if you are only budgeting for two coats go with two coats of color. One coat will not cover evenly and will look really poor (cleared or not). The floor will be plenty durable with 2 good coats of color.

Mike, Did you pressure wash your floor or just hose and squegee? I cleaned and etched mine Wed using the hose and a foam squeege, and I'm hoping to lay the epoxy down tomorrow.

Which Smithy do you have? What type of precision is it capable of?

Cool, so 4 should be close to good on 1100 sq. (minus the bathroom, closet, etc.) I'm going for it this weekend, rain or shine, sun or snow....I've got to get this floor down before winter if I want to be able to work in there.

I'm in Southern Indiana and am really wanting to put the epoxy down on my newly finished garage...what temp is too cool? If overnight temps drop below 60 is it too cold? Also, I've bought 4 kits of the rustoleum epoxy for 1100 sq ft, is this enough?

Making some progress here, I figured out where I wanted the decal to go, sanded the bowl, and applied the first coat of epoxy last night. . .

I wondered about that, I'm just afraid of the porcelain chipping.

I've found a clear epoxy that states its waterproof and will adhere to porcelain. I am thinking I can adhere the decal to the bowl and cover in epoxy... Any thoughts?

Unfortunately I haven't seen an actual new Sequoia. We were however building our first prototype Tundras this past week.

You'll have to wait a bit longer, it's scheduled to be released after the new Tundra.
