What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Well, at last managed to pull "the unit" out of the jag. I am so glad I got the engine leveler as other wise this job really would have been a bit of a pain. Battery impact driver made short work of the adjustments. Now just to fit the new gear box and return it all.

What's the temperature in your 'GARAGE' ?

19X19 with a 11ft ceiling part insulated, with insulated garage door. Got central heating rad's in there running off the house system. It normally sits about 16c (60F). Even when it was -3c outside it still maintained the 15 to 16c. I am very please with it, but a bit reluctant to open the...

    The 3rd Scottish Garage

No relation. However all my cars do have said teddy on the back ;) if the SNP had not dropped the drink drive limit then that could have been a option for breakfast.

Who has their drill press mounted on your main workbench?

I have my one attached to a set of draws across the garage from the main work bench, was not quite enough space mainly dude to the cupboards above it. Really quite like having it on its own means any bits from the drilling don't end up on the work bench.

Well that is the floor all grouted and finished, have done a few small jobs in there so far and I have to say that having a warm dry draft free garage to work in is just so much nicer. Any way the first proper project has now been started. To fit this Into the old Jag. Engine and gearbox...

    20x20 Garage - Heat?

My attached garage is the same size as yours, and has a 10ft high ceiling, walls are not insulated but are "dry-walled". There was a noticeable improvement in temp when I insulated the roof. So I would start with this first if you can. I have a single radiator in there linked into the house...

    Cordless tool brand preferences

After buying a few cheep own brand drills and killing these quite quick, I got a Makita drill about 8 years ago. I have been buying Makita kit since then. I also upgraded to the LXT range of tools a few weeks back love the fact the 18v is lighter than my old 14.4v stuff. So I would happily...
