The curved feet and the curved shelf really complement each other nicely. Lovely build. Can't wait to see it progress. Great work.

    Do you keep maintenance records?

For VAG cars here in Ireland it is a big thing for those enthusiast to record everything and have services done at the dealerships. Even the guys who do their own interim services or slight modifications for original stock it's a big thing. This is also valuable in confirming mileage as per...

    Do you keep maintenance records?

I keep everything including an excel sheet of every time I fill up the car with diesel/petrol. Just to check car consumption v's actual consumption and see how every service affects it! I'm boring like that!!! [emoji6] Last car I had: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Irish Version of a Welding Table

So you guys were right about the time consumed by the small fella. No more time for me. [emoji6] Was in the shed and decided I needed to tidy the place up. Didn't take a before but the afters are still not perfect. Picked up some pallet racking to help with the process. Below is the current state:

Thanks for the quick reply to the post. That's a thing of beauty. Super job. It's next on the list (ever growing list) of things to do. Plenty of Rams at home with it being a farm and watching what everyone does here to make it right first time.

Irish Version of a Welding Table

So, the baby has consumed all of my time... Who knows what I did with all my time before. Managed to get some work done on the timber bench. I looked at the extension for the chop saw and wanted to get that sorted. I drilled holes to center up with the 2x4 timbers and then I placed two sheets...

Irish Version of a Welding Table

Success, The toolbox was replaced by the company who is also the carrier. I was really hoping they would say 'here's a set of wrenches' to make up for the slight damage to the box. Oh well, 100% perfect box, now I need to fill it with tools. It's like a vicious never ending cycle. :-)

My take on a fab table

It makes perfect sense. I was framing a work bench on my fab table and if I had read this sooner then that is what I should have done. So simple yet so elegant. http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=295802

Nice video find of hand built cabin

Now that's a labour of love. I truly respect anyone with those skills and patience to build something so beautiful. It must be an immense feeling to finally move in there knowing that there is not one element of that build that you don't know about. One word - Beautiful

Irish Version of a Welding Table

So the toolbox arrived: This thing is a monster. It's got 5" castors which brings the table top in at 44". Drawers are all solid and the rails are good quality. There is a good feel of quality around it. Very happy with it. Except for this one thing.... During assembly I spotted it. It...

Irish Version of a Welding Table

Cheers Radrush, the castor plates were re-welded over again on all four corners. This helped to fill them out also. The castors will give up twice over before the plates do now. [emoji12][emoji1303]

Irish Version of a Welding Table

Got a chance to start a new receiver for my bench top grinder (Record one). Just cut some 16mm flat plate left over from the table top so I now have approximately (150mm) or 6" waste. This will get consumed elsewhere. Lined it up and drilled the four holes. (Held it in the vice receiver I...
