    I love my TLPPC floor.

How was your floor finished? Am just curious as to what I'm going to need to do. Mine was power trowled, and is very smooth. I'm going to message Justin as to wether I could get away with just etching it, or if I will have to do a light grind.

The steel is nice, id lose less headroom, but At what cost? How much more would steel be, over wood?

    Mezzanine and joist span help?

I was wondering about that. I've heard of guys doing it both ways, and haven't really heard of any issues by doing it either way. I'm assuming free standing would be my best bet?

    Mezzanine and joist span help?

So I would be good just using 6x6 post's for the garage side support, attached to the floor with something like this?

    Mezzanine and joist span help?

Thank you! Glad to know I can make this work. The slab is 6" for a majority of the floor, minus a 20x20 section where I'm going to eventually have a lift, we poured 8" plus. I figured 6" would be plenty, and I wouldn't need a footer. I will be keeping that side mostly open, w/removable...

    Mezzanine and joist span help?

Been trying to plan the mezzanine for my barn, and have a few questions/am stuck. Especially on the joist spans. So I'll start with that. My posts are 8' apart, and I would like to put the mezzanine in the corner. Ideally I would like to go out 2 poles, and down either 2 or 3, so 16x16 or 16x24...

    Nohr S Polyurea vs TLPPC?

So the hd40 is comparable to the tlppc? Is the burnishing required for the extra protection? Or just to get the gloss? The tlppc, no burnishing is required correct? I Also have small pads outside of my doors. I believe I saw the tlppc can be used on those to?

    Nohr S Polyurea vs TLPPC?

And here I thought they were close to the same type of product. Shows how much I know. So yes again, finish is not important. I want protection for the floor underneath

    Nohr S Polyurea vs TLPPC?

So I've pretty much narrowed down my choices between these two. And I wanted to get some of the groups input on which they would choose. Over the winter we just finished up the shell of my 40x48 pole barn, brand new concrete floor (approx 4 months old), nothing has been driven in there yet...

    Finally...40x64x16 pole barn

So with just those 4 lights, is it bright enough to work on things without extra lighting? Also, could you let me know where you got the insulation? And did you put it on the outside of the purlins and put the metal right over it?

    Finally...40x64x16 pole barn

Could you post some pics of the lighting? I finished the shell/concrete floor of my 40x48 over the winter, and am about ready for wiring. Also, what did you use for insulation? Is that just the bubble stuff? Looks great!

    New install garage door issues...

Just wanted to give a final update. Going back and forth with the door company, we finally settled on them crediting me half of what my quote for correct repairs are. Still not happy I have to spend money on that, instead of insulation, lighting, etc. but it is what it is. Yes, there was a HUGE...

    New install garage door issues...

That's actually a pretty decent idea! Can I get it in white? Thank you for the compliments, I plan on starting a build thread soon when I can get a hour or two of free time. I still have a long way, but atleast it is mostly weather right now

    New install garage door issues...

I appologize for the long wait, so here's an update on where we are at now. The door is a insulated steel interior/exterior r18 door, no windows. They came yesterday, put the thicker seal on the bottom, which raised the door about an inch and a half. From there I had about a 1 1/4" gap left at...

    New install garage door issues...

Thank you for the heads up! But I am going to tell the true story, and If the mods feel they need to pull it, so be it. I'm uploading a few pictures now. Once I'm done that I'll post the details

    New install garage door issues...

Wow, I thought this thread had died! No comments for a few days so I stopped checking it. The company came out today to "try" to remedy it today, I'll type up the story when I get off work.

Yes, the salesman came out twice before ordering, and used his fancy laser measuring tool to get his measurements

    New install garage door issues...

Thank you for all the replies! As for the opening, it is 14' from floor to ceiling, but adding the weather lip, which is where that 1.5" extra comes in. So I would need a 14'3" door, which would be fine. The door salesman keeps telling me that it is a custom door.. If it's a custom door, there...

    New install garage door issues...

So after waiting over a month for my new door, supposedly custom order, they came to install it last week. Everything went great, I had to leave for work while they hung the last panel. Left the balance check with him. Got home that night and I see s door that's 2" short. Called first am and...
