    Urgent Oil furnace help??

No. The first tech cracked the bleeder line, and told me I needed a new unit. Then proceeded to give me a few options, the cheapest of which was over 7k, but if I have a down payment today, they'd do the whole heat and a/c for the low price of 14,500$. The second was a friend of mine, that's...

    Urgent Oil furnace help??

So I just pulled the strainer filter on the pump, and the nozzle. The filter is clean, the nozzle also doesn't look to bad. It has s little blackish residue on the outside but that's about it. Running down to the store now, I'll hopefully have good news in an hour or so

    Urgent Oil furnace help??

I guess trying separate fuel will be my next step. Will regular diesel from the pump be ok? Also, I don't have to keep bleeding it, it hold prime and I never got any air out when I cracked the bleeder during the "recycle" start up, but for some reason that made it re-ignite a few times. That...

    Urgent Oil furnace help??

Yes I've replaced the filter, and just about a hour ago before I left for work I attempted to bleed it when it attempted to re-fire after the "recycle" period, and it would not fire. I bled about 6 oz or so into a solo cup, it it was all clear (well red, but clear of anything else) We did...

    Urgent Oil furnace help??

I hate to keep re-setting, but I have to keep it somewhat warm here. The only thing I can think of at this point is maybe some kind of fuel problem between the filter and the combustion. I just don't get why it will run perfectly fine for the small amount of time, then just die.

    Insulated door, higher value better?

Thanks for all of the input! At this point, I'm figuring as much as I've spent on this building, I may as well pay the extra 300 for the r18. The lifts specd with the door is a lift master medium dirt hoist, no model number on the quote.

    Insulated door, higher value better?

It's time to choose the doors for my barn, I have one centered 14x18 door and one 8x7. I plan to eventually insulate the building, but my question is, at what point in the door insulation a waste of money? One quote I have is for the 14x18, no windows. r9 value w/opener $4300 R18 w/opener...
