Should I buy a Skid Steer?

That would be wonderful if you could find people willing to work! We gave up waiting for contractors to return calls, show up for bids, or show up to perform the work! We both enjoy working in our gardens, at our age it's a little slower, but we get the jobs done, the projects are completed. So...

Should I buy a Skid Steer?

Unfortunately, in my case, BC and other Mfgs are 1 1/2 Hrs away! So that's a chunk of change for pick-up. As for storage, we can store in under our large deck, or in the utility shed! If the BC is moveable, I'd rent a trailer to take it to the dealer! In the event it doesn't move, they bring...

Should I buy a Skid Steer?

One BIG consideration in purchase vs rental ,do you have a trailer capable of moving the skid steer. If you don't the delivery costs $$$ will be very expensive. The second part of the equation is, should the skid steer become inoperative. Would you be able to get it loaded onto your trailer ??? AL

Should I buy a Skid Steer?

We have 4 AC in the mountains of TN with some rough terrain and it isn't even close to being flat! Use of a wheelbarrow isn't even a consideration. I'm 73 and love gardening.... I started looking at ATVs with dump cart, then 4WD side by sides. The a 443 Bobcat fell into our laps. It's a 80's...

Found a crack in my new lift tower late in the installation. FML!

If they are not willing to resolve the problem now under warranty, they would not honor the warranty in the future !! So either find someone who can weld the area, or **** can the entire lift, as it's not worth ones life for a measly few thousand dollars !!! Personally, i'm for the latter!! AL
