    As for locking exterior electrical boxes. Talk to your local FD and ask them what common keys they use. Then just purchase the same lock. Some local FD even sell the locks. Then you don't have to worry about them having to cut the lock off!

    AFCI tripping with welder

    Just as an FYI, I had 2 circuits in the garage where the romex ran in parallel from the electrical panel. Using the welder on the non GFI / AFCI circuit would trip the AFCI circuit breaker. Moved the romex ~ 6" solved the problem.

    Yes, I can have BC perform the work on site. That would require 2 trips. The 1st one to determine what parts would be required. Then a second trip to install the parts. The travel cost for the 2 field trips is $1,000 in travel time. So I prefer to send the BC to Knoxville instead!
