    What your Dad taught you,

Your word is all you got. Never EVER underestimate what people will do in traffic. What you never thought possible, people will make happen right in front of you. When the woman is happy, everyone gets sleep. When the woman is unhappy, nobody sleeps. How to forgive yet remember (fool me...

You might be a garage or tool junky if:

My wife and I frequent Lowes, Home Depot, and HF quite a bit together. We actually go to HD once a week and call it "date night" - I am dead serious. We love tools and our cars like children - the children we will not be having. Why spend $250k on a child when you can do that building a...

    Rockwell Drill/Driver Kit RK2512K

You have to actually go to Sears, I'm betting, to get the deal. I just now checked my Sears online with my zipcode punched in, and it was still $76 as well. I think that is very underhanded of Sears to not post the clearance price on their website. I wonder if that means this is a regional...

    Rockwell Drill/Driver Kit RK2512K

Hey guys, Figured I'd let everyone know about this one. Was in Sears lastnight hoping to find the Gearwrench X-Wrenches for like $10 (to no avail), but I found this deal! As usual, YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary). Sears is selling the Rockwell RK2512K on clearance for $44 (around $46 with tax...

    Show your new tool arrivals

Brought this lil' guy home lastnight. Paid $46 (taxes and all), and it came with its own Li-ion battery, charger, and carrying case, and the carrying case has multiple velcro straps to hold the tool in place rather than it just flop around. Part number is RK2512K. Got it at Sears on...

    Heat Guns ?

I have that exact one - GREAT lil' heatgun for $55. I have been very pleased with it. It has a "variable" setting that's like a round disc on the back and you turn in clockwise to heat up and CCW to cool down. VERY great gun. Paid $55 and never looked back.

    Typical Harbor Freight Customers

I have bought SO much stuff at HF. I love that store. The only things there that I am a bit hesitant at getting are their hand wrenches and their rotary tool. I burned out one of their Chicago Electric rotary tools after only 30 minutes of use, but to be fair, the fiberglass I was cutting...

what are you restoring in your garage

Not RIGHT in my garage right now, but I figured I would share anyways. I just got done with this: Waterpump and some heater hoses underneath the intake had some coolant leaks. I painted the area under the intake with a paint called Glyptal Paint from Eastwood. The paint has some...

Any one have a traffic light in their garage?

These are exactly what I used and bought from this seller: Iron arm pipes I believe these to be cast iron arms - they weigh a good 8-10 lbs each. I used these in combination with 5" long drag screws (can be purchased easily from Home Depot) and MADE SURE I hit a stud. Without a stud, get...

    Garage TV's

I think I am going to get a 19" - 25" for my garage with a tilt and swivel mount. Then, I'll be hooking it up to an old laptop with wireless for just the garage, and then I can jump on Youtube or anywhere else while staying in the garage to diagnose a problem/watch a how-to video. I get REALLY...

Any one have a traffic light in their garage?

So I got my W/DW light hooked up yesterday! It is a "vintage" aluminum Crouse-Hinds W/DW signal. I utilized the TS-12 traffic light controller at http://www.tscontrolsonline.com/. It included everything I needed, and the instructions were thoroughly detailed and well documented as seen...

Any one have a traffic light in their garage?

Hey Curly, The thing I did was make a FB albums for "public photos" only. Then I copy and pasted the link for those pictures here by clicking on the icon for posting picture links. The icon is square with a lil' sun and a hill on it; it's is directly underneath the "left and right arrows" icons!

    Hello from Dayton/WPAFB!

Thanks guys! Wow, many people here are from Ohio! That's pretty cool. I'm used to living in Pensacola where it was "no man's land" - Ohio - it's like the farthest point is 4 hours away. Cool to meet everyone! Don't forget to go say hi to "Little Red" in her intro thread - she's my fiancee...
