    Recommend air hammer chisels?

The cheap ones will flatten even out quickly, even if you aren't using them much.

How do you mark your tools?

Most of the tools that are the same as other guys in the shop have I mark with my first name or initial with my engraver.

    Show your new tool arrivals

Picked up these goodies today, long 3/8" flex to replace the worn out chrome version with half the teeth that I have. And the small rechargeable light, I have a cheap one but it's about a foot long, works good but I'm always bumping into it and causing it to fall off whatever it's magnetized too.

My new Bondhus hex / Allen wrenches are pathetic

Just buy the snap on hex keys and be done with it. I was buying the Eklinds for a while (I must have 6 sets of ball end SAE keys now) and was constantly breaking the balls off taking apart hydraulic components, always having to buy a new set because 1 key out of 13 was broken. Bucked up and...

    Penlight is mightier than the...?

I have the streamlight stylus pro, stays on my overalls pocket at all times, I use it a lot through out the day, been dropped in oil, snow, mud, onto rock and concrete floors from decent heights, exposed to -40, have had it just over a year and am really impressed with it, just the right amount...

MAC tools vs Pittsburgh (Harbor freight) - diagonal cutters

I have the same set, the exaggeration in your post is obvious, yes the etching instead of engraving ****, they all work pretty decently, there is much better out there and it is obvious that they are promotional type items, I still do use my kleins in many cases but they aren't "SO BAD" as you...

MAC air drill in January flyer

1 year on the drill, their website has the lifetime code for drill bits, snap on doesn't offer lifetime on bits unless You have a good dealer.

Is anyone else mildly or extremely OCD about their tools/box?

I have mistched tools as well, mainly sockets from various socket sets bought on sale at great prices and then adding others that weren't in the set, doesn't bug me, now organization of tools I am a little OCD about.

Home made - portable saw dust collectors

Would like to see some pics and info of any portable home made dust collectors for saw dust, we ( fiancé and I) do a fair wood working in the garage and no matter how you try to contain it it gets everywhere, have an idea in mind but would like to see others, needs to be portable so I can bring...

    Chicago Pneumatic CP8848K cordless impact

My only complaint so far on the 2763 is the way I hold it I bump the forward- reverse switch all the time, it's almost too easy to move.

    Chicago Pneumatic CP8848K cordless impact

The price I saw for it (CDN) was a couple hundred bucks less than the 2763-22 Milwaukee and pretty good torque rating, that being said I would still pay more for the Milwaukee, it's more powerful, has like 40 other tools that use the same batteries, the charger does 12 and 18v, and everywhere...

    Snap-on KRA 2" drawer height

Should be fine, I will measure tomorrow for exact height. I dislike the amount I 2" drawers I have, really limits what you can put in the drawers.

Show Off Your Custom Tool Storage!

Made this back piece for my box to hold stuff and stick things on with magnets, power bar etc. also stops stuff from falling off. 54"x 18" 16 guage (I think?) steel welded to 2x2x1/8" angle iron, the angle is sandwiched underneath my stainless top, so it doesn't bolt on just sits under the top...
