Forgot this little fella I got for a buck from another sale. Does anyone know how good the Williams line wrenches are compared to their Snapon brothers?
Bought some wrenches off fbm this week and the seller reached out to let me know he had some more snapon for sale. Guy cleans out estates and gets all kinds of interesting things. Was really only after the fhx80 but not a terrible deal. Lots more cleaning when I make it to the garage.
I acquire some wrenches over the weekend. One of them was wrapped in surgical tape as well as an extension. I have never seen this before. Not sure if it’s for working in the hot or cold or improve grip. Not sure what other purpose it would serve other than preventing rattling in a truck tool...
FBM find today guy was asking 200 for 28 Snapon wrenches. Had terrible pictures and the condition looked rough offered 100 settled on 125. Going through them only 24 Snapon, 2 Mac and a Willam’s and a plumb. But he threw in the sockets for free. Had been looking for the metric line wrenches...
Thrift store find. Seen the two snapons was hoping to find more. Never seen a volume brand socket before. And the industro had all four corners split never seen that either.
Does anyone have any experience making soft jaws for a vise? I have a couple of pairs of these slip over ones and I don’t care for how they perform. Thoughts on if brass, copper, aluminum or even oak would be the best choice?
Stopped at one sale. Sockets were unpriced, asked how much they were $10 each. Then asked how much for all $60. Called it a day. Two Snapons several wright and a bunch of import stuff also.
