    The Mastercraft/Mastercraft Maximum tool thread

I would have to agree. I have a set of their old Professional Series wrenches that are really nice. I recently bought a set of the Maximum stubby metrics that aren't all that snug on what you're fastening and the polish is not the greatest either.

    The Mastercraft/Mastercraft Maximum tool thread

My kid playing on his mini bike. The screwdriver set has paid for itself ten times over the last few years. You can't see it in the pic, but the old Professional Series wrench set is behind the bike.

What's on your walls? Neat storage ideas!

I've built a few of these from the excel spreadsheet. Not a woodworke3r at all but had no trouble selling two, three and four slot racks

Modifications to the HF 4 and 5 drawer service carts - what changes have you made?

Actually, I think it's quite brilliant, and just a little bit dastardly... "Dear, can I get a new cart for the garage?" "NO!! YOU HAVE ENOUGH **** IN THERE ALREADY!" Two and a half years later when Junior is potty trained.........

    Show us your portable toolbox!

My go to box. Older Craftsman that has most of my stuff I use regularly. It sits on an old A/V cart I got from my workplace.

What do you wish you would have done differently when you built/fixed up your garage?

Never ever ever move anything into the damn garage until it's completed INSIDE! Otherwise it`ll never get done.

    Killed a Snap On socket

My local dealer refused to warranty the exact same thing on a socket. Told me I had it in an impact. Didn't even own an impact at the time. But...the dealer is a knob....:)

I think snap on became my favorite tool company

My take on this - years ago, right after I was done university I had a good friend who was a SO dealer so I supported him a fair bit, buying 1/4" and 3/8 stuff that I knew I could use, plus some screwdrivers and wrenches. Then and now, I could not justify paying SO prices for 1/2" drive stuff...

    Canadian Tire DEALS

The Canadian Tire cart on sale looks identical to the Harbor Freight one that's always on sale for half the CT sale price.. To bad you can't get Harbor Freight stuff in Canada. Even with the exchange the cart would still be way cheaper...

    pistol grip screwdriver

I have had one for years. Bought it for my wife to work on computers with. She didn't like it, so I ended up with it. It's okay but I use my T-handle more often.

https://www.acklandsgrainger.com/en/product/MINI-RATCHET-3-8-DR-3-IN/_/R-WSW5TZG0 I bought this little brute a few months ago. Heavy head on it. Works good but wouldn't be suited for tight work

    Borrowing tools

I don't wrench for a living, in fact my wife says I don't even use the tools I do have, BUT they are mine. When my father-in-law was still alive, I would lend him stuff because I knew it would come back. My buddy across the street who I have known for 40 years, and is an ATV tech, can borrow if...

Too many projects. What you got?

I have to reclaim my garage - it looks like an episode of Hoarders. I have two vehicles in there in various states of disrepair and realize now that i am never going to be able to get at both of them so I will reluctantly be offering them for sale once i find them under all the ****. Then...

    worst tool brand

Power Fist stuff from Princess Auto is a real hit and miss. I used their 3/8 extra long extensions a lot and have never bent them even using them as a prybar. I bought a router that can be used as a die grinder as well and it is awesome. The finger ratchets are sold in a set with all three...
