Those doors look really nice. Great score on the price too! You're more patient than I was -- I got my little space to just about where you are (no stained glass sadly, but with electrical) then moved and and started working on the car. I still have to insulate/add floor...

The Droobarn, my (small) slice of garage heaven

No more progress on the barn itself, other than adding these cheap shelves to one side. These are critical, as I've decided to do a full restoration on my Bugeye -- down to a bare shell and back up again. Lordy help me. I've been working out there a bit and I can get it warm enough to function...

    dubber's single

Glad I'm not the only one. :D 22 vehicles (including bikes) in the last 19 years. Can't have them all at once, so one at a time works. 4 years is my record too.

Show me the best 1 car garage?

Looks great, nice use of space and working in that funky corner at the back. Well done!

The Droobarn, my (small) slice of garage heaven

MGB (small), Bugeye Sprite (really small). Bugeye is about 4.5' wide, MGB is a touch wider. Helps to like small cars. With just the Bugeye and the new bike there is a bunch of space. Relaxation on a budget. That corner will be my engine-building space, so only occasionally needed for real...

The Droobarn, my (small) slice of garage heaven

Well, the Bugeye seemed lonely in there, so yesterday I added in a bike for company -- '13 Moto Guzzi V7 Stone. Friend asked if it was RHD to match the car, I told him no, but it is painted white so it'll fit right in. Got my little fleet right where I want it, so now it's time to focus on...

    Workshop 88

Nice work on the garage. Great to see a small, well thought out space taking shape. Going to enjoy watching this one come together. I'm dealing with similar space (12'x20') -- there's plenty of room if you think things through, and you seem to be doing a great job visualizing what you can do...

Bugeye Contemplation Zone Bugeye Contemplation Zone $7 Walmart floor lamp, old cheap folding chair, work stool, cheap oil-absorbant rug, good book, glass of Makers Mark. My little contemplation corner. :) Now I just need insulation and heat.

And then there was one And then there was one Well, I got to the end game of my tight storage space faster than I had anticipated. Sold the MGB today. Put an ad out there last week to see if there was interest, and a friend in my local car club bought it. He picked it up tonight, so I'm back...

Fantastic! Shall we take bets on how quickly your cars and stuff will find there way in there after the shell is done?

So have you stood in the middle of the pad and imagined the finished building yet? :) Great to see the progress.

The Droobarn, my (small) slice of garage heaven

Thanks, Don. The Bugeye is a bit of a dream car for me, so I bought it even though I really shouldn't have. Ah well, it'll speed up the eventually building of an annex for the Droobarn...

The Droobarn, my (small) slice of garage heaven

I've been eyeing that fold-up design for some time now, and finally had the nerve to whip one together. I'm not a particularly good carpenter but I can follow a drawing. I learned some things in this little build that I can apply when I build the pair that will go in the barn. If I keep both...
