    Spray paint

I've had very bad luck with Rustoleum lately and not much better with Krylon. I started questioning my spray painting abilities. But I've recently been using Dupli-Color purchased at auto parts stores and have had great results. Downside is limited color selection and price is a little higher.

How can some of you guys tolerate a cluttered shop?

Hey, it happens. And I'm as guilty as anyone. My wife is so **** about the house having to be so ****-and-span clean that sometimes it feels good to have some clutter and junk out in the garage. Comes a time I got to clean and organize but it does get messy now and then.

It is all ready to be powder coated. You can see the next shelf unit is cut and waiting on the PDR. It'll be slightly different. To be continued. Thanks everyone for your interest and continuing support. ;) Thomas Maybe not a welding tutorial but a great fabrication tutorial. Thanks for...

    Public Service Announcement

Should've done maintenance earlier but it's done now. Just put new auger blades, scraper bar, new fuel line and filter, cleaned and gapped the plug on my 9 year old Toro 3650 single stage. Works like new again; just came in from doing mine and the neighbors drives. My drive is two wide and...

    Small Two Car Operation

Wow, what crazy weather. Here in NE Ohio (Youngstown) we only got a few flurries, nothing like the snow you got. The Nativity Set looks great Herb. You and your wife do very nice work. I've always loved the Nativity Scene. My father made one to put near the tree back in 1959 or so when I was...

What a great thread Herb. I love what you've done with your garage space and how well-organized it is. Thanks for the documentation too. I've gotten a lot of useful tips to use in my 24 x 24 garage. I'll be retired in just a few more days so I hope to get busy real soon. Your thread here has...

west of Philly - barn saving

Bob, I have followed your build for quite some time now and I haven't commented because, well, I just haven't gotten around to it. That's a very poor excuse I know so let me rectify that right now. I love this build and what you have done with this barn. The amount of labor you've put into...

Re: garage refurb Nothing boring about this thread; great work Eric. Can't yet get out to my garage as I'm deep into a basement workshop overhaul then remodeling the basement bathroom. Got to get it all done while the cold weather is here. But your thread is keeping me very motivated to...

    Built-it-myself tools/machines - show us what you've done

Very nice. I've got parts collected to build one like in your first pic. I know this is the wrong thread but in the second pic I see some 70's era stereo items. I'm into this stuff too; just wondering what they are.
