What the heck is this odd socket?

Looks like an oil pressure relief valve tool. The round piece goes on the ball valve and that holds the tool centered while removing the valve….I’m usually wrong on this forum…

Blackhawk PT 1280 pliers with bail.

Very similar to my S.O. ‘Vacu-grip’, but the bail to hold the pliers clamped is a great idea, but I notice the new ones don’t have it…why not?

I have One herbrand socket, didn’t consider it worth posting, must have been towards the end of the line because it is unremarkable. Great showing you have there!👍

Life-Saver Tools - The Ultimate Thread of Indispensable & Innovative Tools

Don’t know if these have been posted, but I use them all the time. Photo is generic, mine may have been sold/made by Thexton. Having a power And ground available over the whole length of a machine is very useful, and it coils up by hand into the spool.

Found this #216 socket the other day. AA says it is 1920-22. Is this rare?

    1944?

Since it’s been proven I can’t yet recognize tools on sight, tell me who made this, and is the’44’ a date…it’s in pretty good shape, have barely cleaned it. I expect one of you to say you had so many of them you used them to support the steel when you poured your sidewalk…🤣

    Found an Arcturus

It seems to always end this way. I start out really chuffed with something I perceived as being rare and sought after, then one of you shows a picture of an unused one coated in Cosmoline, followed by a photo of a CASE of new ones!!!!🙈😱🙄🤣🤬

    Found an Arcturus

I am sad that it got so beat up…right on the date casting..oh well. Got a service call in the morning so I can’t do anything about further cleaning until later.
