After a very quick search I found this for you Thomas. I've used 1 of those saws many years ago and they work well but the blades are getting hard to find. The neat thing about the blades is when they're worn out you can sharpen them up and use them as knives. Kinda like...

The funny looking chrome trim looks like some old rear fender lips Thomas.;) You've got some interesting finds there and if you were closer I'd try and talk you out of that Keller saw for my shop.:p

Well it looks like I'm about to do a little searching to see what I can find on LED lights. Hopefully I can find them cheap enough to make my blaster lit up enough to see in it. The drawback on a blaster down here is static electricity build up so a plexiglass tube would compound the issue. I've...

Got a couple of questions on the new light Thomas. How long was that string of lights and how much was that whole set up? I need to fix my sandblaster lights and this just might be the perfect replacement rather than the ballast and fluorescent tubes in it now.

If it helps i used to race SCCA GT1 in a Vette. It was a 68 with a Rhere and Morrison built 350 and a Doug Nash 5 speed. Loved driving that car until the owners wife ran it into a corner. Had to section the frame as well as rebuild the body.:shocking: We sold it just after that and...

Instead of doing the quick reply box click on "post reply". Once it loads scroll down and you'll see "manage attachments" and click on that. You can load directly from your puter that way.

I can tell you from my fathers stories that the oil can drain was fairly common in the depression. People woulld go around and look for oil cans that had been thrown out and get as much out of them so they wouldn't have to buy a can if they couldn't afford it.

Thank you for the link to the old equipment Don. What you've got there is an adjustable die Thomas. You can open or tighten it up to fit the threaded portion you're trying to fix/thread. I've got 1 for 1.125 12 TPI whitworth threads that I used to thread barrels with. The fact that it was adjustable was a big advantage when trying to fit a...

It should be able to go to 100 PSI but I think it was used back when you could change the tires on your car by yourself. Most likely in the 30's to 50's. I would do some cleaning on it and see if you can find a name. That might give you some clue to it's origin.
