    MaineiacMoose's Boring Garage Thread.

Got a whole day of work done in the garage the other day. It has been un seasonably warm here and I am taking advantage! The divider wall is all insulated and closed up minus one little piece of osb. Which means I now can place the car where it will rest until I get this done. I also...

    Here’s my 32x48

I like the design with the big open front. Having plumbing would be a great asset but not required. I can't tell from the pictures but is that insulated at all?

That seems like a huge chore for building a garage. Looks like the land makes it well worth the headache. That is one beautiful spot enjoy the build!

managed to get some work done today! finished installing some insulation in the divider wall that I have been putting off due to having to pull the OSB off the wall. fixed that all up an put some insulation up in the corner and closed it up. I also had to take down the OSB from the divider...

I am guessing the stove wont have to run much to keep it warm out there. The stove will heat a 3000 sq ft house so the 750' that I am heating should be a cakewalk.

This has made such a difference with heating its a shame I hadint done it sooner. The stove ran all day on low using only about a bag or less of pellets. The temp was at 53 when I went out the next morning. That is plenty warm for a garage area. None of the other walls are insulated...

Got to do some work in the Boring garage today. Woke up to about 4 inches of the white stuff that was heavy and wet. It was a surprise it was supposed to be rain. This was my second warning that it was time to put the blower on so I decided it was time to heed the warnings lol. Ate turkey...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Ate ton's of turkey and pie! Then proceeded to get to work prepping the ole John Deere for war! Started out with a nice game of tetris to get the cab out of the back corner of the garage. Then the handy dandy chain fall went to work. all in about two hours worth of me time in the cold...

That's where I am hoping to be with this in a couple of years. I plan on putting in a new cool DIY minisplit to keep it heated all the time to 50 or so. I really can't wait to have a space to actually work on things. I didn't get to finish the strapping but I did get a bunch more done...

I managed to get a little bit of the strapping done this morning when I got home from work. I was pleased to see how fast the stove took the edge off in the room though it was pretty warm at 35. I have priced out the insulation for the ceiling and man they are proud of that stuff lol. I am...
