So I was traveling around from garage sale to garage sale today and came upon this: Give me your thoughts. What would you pay for it?

Garage Overhaul Using Rust Bullet for the Floor

The flex is a great machine. Bought the new 4" backing plate for spot buffs. I think once you pick a flex up you won't pick up the GG again.

Garage Overhaul Using Rust Bullet for the Floor

I know a little. It's a hobby not a job. I use a Flex polisher. Product lines for wash Duragloss, OPT ONR, Megs Deep Crystal or Megs Gold (depending on stripping wax or not). Polishes include Menz, Megs Pro line, 1Z and others. Sealant WG DGPS 3.0. Waxes XMT or DP. Took a break for the...

Garage Overhaul Using Rust Bullet for the Floor

Great looking garage. I hope to someday have a two bay that looks as nice. I see that you are a detailing fanatic as well. Some DP and Blackfire products as well as a ton of MF's with polishing pads all in sealed totes.

    Temporary work space idea

Thank you everyone for the advice. I'm in Manchester CT. Local mechanics are charging $800 to $1000 to perform this job. The part that needs replacing is a $30 part. While I am not a mechanic I am very good with my hands and tools. Have swapped out engines, replaced CV joints, replaced hubs...

    Temporary work space idea

I need to work on the engine bay of my 97 Expedition. I have to replace a broken heater tube that goes to the back of the intake manifold on a ford 4.6 engine. The intake manifold has to be completely removed to perform this job. My problems are that 1) the temp here in CT is 21 degrees F, 2)...

06 Ford F150 Still has starting problems

I would say a bad/corroded wire. I had the same problem with an old Chevy van. Replaced the battery ground wire and never had the problem again.

Outlets - How far up the wall?

Thank you everyone for your answers. Today I start putting in the boxes and running wire. Hopefully tonight I can start insulating at least part of the garage. It's cold this morning and I don't have heat in the garage yet.

Vinyl Tiles - Yes or No!?

They are not talking about the peel and stick type vinyl tile. This stuff is thicker almost like asphalt shingles. You use an adhesive almost like ceramic tile adhesive. I've put some of this stuff down in low income housing as it is durable and cheap. The light colored tile will discolor...

Outlets - How far up the wall?

Thank you both for your inputs. I was looking some of the garages in the gallery and they all seem to have the outlets at 48".

Outlets - How far up the wall?

I did a search and can't find my answer. I know that code for residential receptacles is 12 in center from the floor minimum. My question is, what does everyone recommend for the garage for outlet height?

    Neons, signs, and memorablia

These are all great. I just picked up an old wooden Mr Goodwrench clock and Budweiser sign. Slowly looking for other stuff. Can't wait for the Brimfield Fair come spring time. Keep them coming. I will post pics of new acquisitions when I get home.

    First-Time Homebuyer's Garage 16x29

I would have thought you used more rolls than that just based on quick calculations. Maybe insulating won't be so expensive a hit at one time.
