    Small 11 x 20 garage

Thanks everyone for your replies. I do have a nice size shed for all of the lawn stuff however it's at the back of the lot. The snow blower is in there because of the storm that just passed. The only other lawn equipment is a rake. The stove was purchased by my girlfriend and I have not been...

    motorcycle lifts/tables

I just got the HF 1500 lb jack. Haven't put the bike on it yet but it does roll around better than the Craftsman I used to have. I have done a full tear down and rebuild of my bike on the craftsman. Haven't found a need for a full lift yet so a jack works for me. I have a rolling seat that I...

    Small 11 x 20 garage

So after many years of lurking, after my divorce, I was finally able to purchase a house with a garage. Not my ideal set up, but it was priced 30% below market and the inside of the house was already updated with new kitchen, bathrooms, living room and dining room. Today, I decided to start...

    Car Buffer & Polisher

Autogeek.net I have a flex DA. It buffs as good as a rotary with the safety of a DA. It is not as fast as a rotary but is much faster than the Porter Cable. It is more expensive than the Porter Cable. Edge makes an adapter to use their smaller pads for spot buffing. Autopia.org is another...

    Air Compressor rebuild

Picked up an old ACME air compressor. Don't know the HP of the motor. It is an oil compressor with a 10 gallon tank. Paint is pealing, placards are covered by crud and hard to read. It is hard wired as the pressure on/off regulator is broken. My question to start is..Are these high/low shut...

    Home Depot or Lowes?

I have both by my house side by side. I find that at my location I can find what I am looking for easier at HD and there is always someone around to help. At the lowes near me, I have pushed the assistance button and literally waited 20 minutes and no one has shown up. The times when someone...

Removing decals from Snap-on tool boxes

Goo Gone and a hair dryer works great. I removed the emblems from my motorcycle's tank using this method. Do not try to peel it off cold and without goo gone or wd-40, it will just rip in pieces and drive you crazy sort of like wallpaper.
