    Husky tools ????

The HD by me still has a pretty nice selection of Husky. I did notice that the Husky screwdrivers are made in a USA with a lifetime warrenty. They look an awful lot like standard Craftsman screwdrivers with a different colored handle for about 25% less then what Sears charges for them.

    More Sears deals

Just got back from Sears. The three piece 80th anniv ratchets were on the shelf maked at 49.97. I took them up to the register and they rang up at 24.97. Needless to say I bought both sets they had left (one for my brother in law). I also got a 9 piece 3/8 drive metric set of deep sockets...

    Motor oil saving rail?

The enviroment was my first concern when I thought about one of these. It's just that the $10 would come out of my poor college student beer money. At this point of my life every unnecessary expense needs to justified in this manner.

    Motor oil saving rail?

I was just about to ask if anyone has acutally used one of these and how much oil you actually save. I figure I would need to fill about 3 or 4 bottles to offset the $10 cost.

    Motor oil saving rail?

Any of you guys ever seen one of those rails you hang on your wall that has ports to attach about half a dozen quart size motor oil bottles upside down to it? It lets the remaining oil drip down into a bottle attached right side up at one end. I remember seeing someting like this in a catalog...

GearWrench 8 pc. Ratcheting Wrench Set, SAE or METRIC $39.99

I think my g/f got me the ten piece metric set for 29.99 before Christmas. Used one for the first time today. Nice wrench, feels a little smoother then the Craftsman raised panel SAE set I've had for a few years.

Sears 15% Off Bag Sale in effect now

They are at the store. I do not think you even need one. They just scanned a bar code they had at the register when I walked up with my purchase yesterday.

    Sears $5 coupon

I figured WTH. I went to a store that is on the other end of town, which happens to be on my way to school. I have only used one coupon there a couple of weeks ago. Figured I had nothing to lose, if they took the stuff back great, if they told me they couldn't, no big deal.

    Sears $5 coupon

No receipts, walked out with a gift card. The girl behind the counter was more then happy to help me out.

    Sears $5 coupon

Id rather not say, but it's about a third of what I've spent using the coupon. I have used over 100 coupons. Oh and some of the 'adjustment' were for more then what I 'paid' for the stuff. Socket rails cost me 2.99, returned at 4.29, go figure.

    Sears $5 coupon

I just got back from a Sears that I did not use many coupons at because they were only taking one coupon per day. I did something that I'm not very proud of. I won't say exactly what it was, but it involves ridding my self of a pile of carpenter's pencils, picture hanging kits and socket rails.

    Hansen Socket Trays On-Sale

The kid at Sears told me one coupon per transaction. Told me to choose the bag or the $5 coupon.

    Sears $5 coupon

Yeah, Ive thought about that also. It will be hard to stop subcontiously subtracting $5 from everything in the Sears tool department.

    Craftsman or Vise-grip

I went out to today and picked up a classic, 10" curved jaw set of Vise Grips (10WR?). Haven't used them for anything yet other then grabbing a bolt sticking out of the garage wall. They do feel much better then my old HF specials. Unfortunately I probably won't get to try them out till this...

My first visit to harbor freight

HF is great for things like bar clamps, plastic funnels, tie down straps, etc. Big power tools, abrasives and anything precise I don't trust. I would never get under a car supported with a jack stand made in the quickest, cheapest way, out of the cheapest material avaible by an unskilled 12...

Very nice Quiksilver! What did you use for the sides of the 'shelf'? Is it on rails or just wrapped in metal?
