Anyone use something like this to set toe after replacing tie rod ends?

That only works when the new and old are identical, a lot of times they aren't. That's why I measure as above (#5) post.

Anyone use something like this to set toe after replacing tie rod ends?

I have always measured from the grease ****** center to the screw in housing edge, and screw in the new joint, to that same dimension. Then to check toe in, use an extendable rod to measure front and back widths on the tires, 1/8" wider on the back worked on all my old Dodge trucks. That did it...

Just order online, that's what I do. They'll look from St. John's to Victoria to find it for you, at very minimal cost. I waited too long and missed out on those Titan wrenches (extra long combos) above. I ordered twice, while you could, but both orders were cancelled. I had two sets on order...

    Buy Canadian

Good stuff! My mother used to knit those sweaters for all the family. I didn't wear mine much, because those forty below winds would blow right through it. Today, if I still had it, I'd wear a simple light wind breaker under it to solve that problem. Those were the days when I still lived in...

    Record Vise - acquisition.

Some of those jaw screws are tough to remove. I use the appropriate driver bit and clamp it between the jaws, then turn it out with a wrench, backing off the clamping force as needed.

Hard to overlook this extra long 18 piece combo set (Titan) for $20. https://www.princessauto.com/en/18-pc-extra-long-sae-metric-wrench-set/product/PA0009344607 Checking around, I see this set selling for $350 at at least one other location, others at $100.

    Record Vise - acquisition.

Where are you?? That's an old Record. Mounting holes are retained, the newer ones are slotted. I bought a 6" a while back (slotted holes) for $40 that had no jaws. I found some at Grainger for $28, if you need some. I had some screws that I could adapt.

Hi I was gi10hp vs 12hp crankshaft Tecumseh horizontal shaft engine

Just buy another 10 HP engine. I see them for sale for $100 or so, sometimes the whole snowblower is included. Be sure to check the output shafts you have, many have two. The extended camshaft turns at half speed and drives the wheels without an additional transmission.

    Chuck change ‘78 Duracraft DP-514

That chuck is held on by a close fitting taper. Make some wedges that fit in the top of the chuck, and it should jump off. You may have to heat that chuck to release that epoxy or what ever it is. Something like these: https://www.instructables.com/Wedges-for-Drill-Chuck-Removal/ Welcome...
