Here the gable walls are raised in windy conditions..........

Thought I'd start a new thread instead of piling on the pages......... Today we raised the eave walls, framed and raised the gable walls and sheathed the gable trusses........... Trusses were delivered as promised and although there is a threat of rain and it certainly was windy...

Some of you might have noticed for Michigan I've waited kind of late in the year to get my shop construction started........anyways, best case scenario it will be up and floor poured within two weeks from now. I've heard quite often that you MUST wait at least a month for the concrete to cure...

Current days work......9/12/05 This is what was accomplished today.......both eave side walls are framed and ready to stand. Wind was picking up a little,though......so plans are for raising them and framing gable ends tomorrow........

Regarding sand in the block....... Right now I could actually do that if time allows.....(I'm working alot,too).....but also have some questions........ Wouldn't that make it a pain in the ....ss if needing to run anything through it such as conduit,etc.? Also, are there any moisture issues...
