I used these in our new house build last year and really like them. Very quiet, efficient. Have them directly over the shower/tub. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0087Q1LH0/?tag=atomicindus08-20

2400 sq ft, insulated metal building. How mush $$$ to install A/C?

I'm taking a different route. Stick built 60x40, insulated doors. I am finishing the inside and am going with a 5 ton split system and a air sock going the length of the building at the ceiling. about 4 grand to do it all.

    Heat Shrink That Hardens Permanently?

Use the marine stuff, it has epoxy already inside of the tube. When you heat it the tube shrinks and activates the epoxy. Stuff is awesome and I use it for everything now, not just the boat. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000QCPKE8/?tag=atomicindus08-20

    Heating a Parts Washer

I had adhesive oil pan/block heaters on the large diesel engines of my sport fisherman and it kept them toasty warm to the touch, wouldn't want solvent any hotter than that. Used these: https://www.wolverineheater.com/Marine-s/1514.htm

    Source for steel liner panel

It was a local distributer for http://www.mcelroymetal.com/ . Someone on the forum had used them for their build. Home Depot sells a similar item at +30% price compared to Menards. I doubt they'd price match since they aren't local but it doesn't hurt to ask right!

    Source for steel liner panel

I've been searching and looking and am struggling to find a reasonable source for metal liner panel. Menards has a great price but they are many many states away and to ship the ~3800 sq ft of material costs almost almost as much as the material itself ($1400 shipping???). I tried a local...

Interior Lighting Suggestions for Upcoming Build

Certainly a concern. I figured if it doesn't work out inside I'll use it outside. Once the building structure is done I'll mount it up on the ceiling and do some light meter measurements to see the spread.
