    Anyone used Anchor Epoxy?

My Dad and I have done all of the work ourselves so far, with just a little help from friends. I still like insulation, wiring and the metal ceiling, but those are all pretty cheap compared to an epoxy floor. I see lots of people on here and other places that just put down one coat of epoxy...

    Anyone used Anchor Epoxy?

Where did the $75 come from? I was quoted anywhere from $40-$60 a gallon depending on what type of epoxy I go with. While the $1800 is cheaper than what I was expecting, it is still around 800-1000 more than I care to spend on my floor. I am sure it would be nice, but I really don't know much...

    Anyone used Anchor Epoxy?

I have checked with Wolverine in the past (when I can get someone to actually return my emails) and it was going to cost me around $3000 or more best I remember to coat my floor. If I can get something that will last me 10 years that only cost me a fraction of the price (the price was for 12...

    Anyone used Anchor Epoxy?

I'm really suprised no one has used this. I have a friend that has recommended it to me. He has had it on a garage floor that receives heavy abuse and reports it has held up well for 10 years. He just poured a new floor and covered 5000 sq ft with it. Because of his positive experience, I...

    concrete sealer ?

I've done a lot of reading on here, but I am not an expert. I am in the same boat you are in. I just built a new 3 car detached garage and I have been agonizing over what type of coating to put on the floor. From what I read, a sealer is more of a temporary fix...it has to be re-sealed every...

Your garage is similar in size to mine. Mine is 30 x 52. Can't wait to see the pics of how your floor turned out.

Anyone familiar with this floor coating?

I've been talking to him about it and he is getting me some prices now. Epoxy from Wolverine is just about out of my price range for the 1500 sq ft I have to cover.

Anyone familiar with this floor coating?

I found the thread, thanks for mentioning it. After reading over it, I think I would be better off to stick with some form of epoxy...or just forget it all together. I have a new slab down, but I am a little scared to try shotblasting it or grinding it myself after reading on here. It...

Anyone familiar with this floor coating?

I contacted a company that isn't too far from me and this is the email I got back from them. I was inquiring about some good quality epoxy for my new garage floor. Is anyone familiar with this product? "We have several options to offer in a high quality sealer. The newest of which is Polycoat...

Who has the coolest clock in their garage? Not Me! Ideas?

I have a reproduction rear panel I bought for my 69 Z and it turned out it was a piece of junk...so, after locating a NOS panel I started thinking I might paint this one up real nice when I paint my car and make a clock out of it...complete with light up tail lights and all. I can put the clock...

    Kentucky steel truss

Unfortunately that is on the other side of the state from me, but they do have some good looking buildings from what I can see on their website.

Do they have a website? I am in Kentucky, if you can get me some info on them I will try and check them out. I might want to buy from them too. Gambitt

    Pole Barn vs Stick Frame

Most contractors I have talked to have said there is very little cost difference between a pole building or a stick building. Since I am building mine myself, I am going with 2x4 walls. This will make it easier to insulate with a thick type insulation.

Best place to buy a steel garage?

I am in the market for a new garage. I am looking for a traditional steel building, 30x50x10. What are some of the best places to get steel kits from? I have Googled around a little, but haven't really found anything that stuck out at me. Thanks. Gambitt
