If you go with the Canarm fans and you get the variable speed reversing switch, you need additional wires. I forget but you'll need 4 or 5 wires . I wound up getting a variable speed switch with no reverse because I only ran 14-2 wires.

I would say be careful what you buy if your worried about how noisy they are. I have a portable Harbor Freight fan and it's pretty noisy.

I've got 4 canarm fans in my 30x40 with ceiling height 13 to 15.5 ft. If you threw a few sheets of paper on the floor and turned the fans on high, they would blow all over. The only thing I don't like is the fans blow the heat down till it mixes with the cool air.

That is a very good pump. They last forever if you have a 3hp motor hooked to it. 5hp spins a lot faster and thus more heat and wear. Pretty quiet when running too.
