    Garage Rebuild

Finally started to move forward with the off-garage man cave/spare room. Started tearing up the carpet and it looks like the concrete underneath has some sort of sealing paint on top. Put a pic in the photobucket. Next up is to figure out if I can get away with just using hydraulic cement on...

    Garage Heating Solution

Sounds perfect, but do you mean an actual home furnace such as this? http://www.alpinehomeair.com/viewproduct.cfm?productID=453064743&linkfrom=froogle&gclid=CjwKEAiAhaqzBRDNltaS0pW5mWgSJADd7cYD-fEbKbEo50Qg5wt5UkVPWHJeJZXOqIE9Rl7jUrG9uxoC067w_wcB

    Garage Heating Solution

Another option would be to install an LP heater and run a new line to my tank, although it is a rather small residential tank. I currently fill it every 3-4 months.

    Garage Heating Solution

Side note, this is really just to help the PTAC heat up the space since I leave the door open and all the plumbing for the master above is not insulated to the garage (also working on that).

    Garage Heating Solution

I have a ~600sqft garage that is insulated on 2 sides. The other boarders a bedroom/bathroom with a 10,000BTU PTAC installed in the bedroom (~220sqft) for Heat and A/C. It is below the master suite. Two car door with one side entrance and a set of stairs to the main house. I have read a lot...

    Benefits of Multiple Polyaspartic Coats

Hmm, they use national polymers as a supplier. I'm not sure about the two part epoxy. I do want something chemical resistant and UV resistant which is why I wanted a poly aspartic. They do a pretty large volume and I've seen positive reviews on here, but I'll see what they say about the 2-part...

    Benefits of Multiple Polyaspartic Coats

Thanks Legacy! After talking to the team I like the most this is what he gave me for details. Thoughts? final coating thicknesses: base epoxy, 10 mil, 0.25 mm polyaspartic, 11 mil, 0.28 mm urethane, 2 mil, 0.05 mm

    Benefits of Multiple Polyaspartic Coats

I have read about floors from various pros and DIY guys that have various coats of polyaspartic on top of a epoxy base w/broadcast to rejection flakes. What are the benefits to 1, 2, or 3 layers of this product? Most of the quotes I have had from pros only do one layer. Thanks!

    Epoxy floor feedback wanted.

It is worth it to add a second coat of polyaspartic to a full broadcast epoxy base? I've seen various different floors, but haven't seen a pro/con of multiple polyaspartic layers as a top coat. The cost difference with the guy I'm going through is minimal. **I hope I didn't jack this thread too...

    Garage Rebuild

While I have plenty of plans for nice and simple workbenches. This first bench I need to buy since I have no woodworking tools and need to get all my mechanics and home tools organized with a place to work. There is a decent bench from harbor freight that I was contemplating picking up and...

    Garage Rebuild

So the plan for a 24'x28' garage is the following: 1. Repair concrete block walls and drylock. 2. Clean and replace door gaskets and place green hinges on the two garage doors. 3. Primer all wood/drywall surfaces (trim and ceiling), leaving the concrete blocks all drylocked. 4. Granite Garage...

    New Garage Guy Here

Just bought my first place and have a 28'x24' garage that I have 6 months to prep before I settle on a Factory Five 818C delivery date (just gave up the #6 car to wait for a 2.3L Turbo option). I was doing an epoxy search that brought me here and found the wealth of info so a member I became. A...
