Yep. I made my own extension because I needed one (that day) and had a Lowe's gift card. It was around $90 for the ends and heavily insulated (SOOW) 10ga wire. $70 is a good price.

I bought some of the 24oz ball peens tonight for $4.8, the mallet was like $1.07. The ball peen is a solid deal.

No, cordless tools require maintenance. Worrying about chargers, batteries getting to cold in the winter, battery deterioration...I plug in an air tool and it works. Every time, 100%. I also use it for painting, sand blasting, filling tires, etc...

I got mine from Zoro tool. If you are using them in sheet metal, absolutely buy Annular cutters in the right sizes to make your holes. Smooth round cuts with no deformation. Also pickup a decent installation tool, you'll want that too.
