    MaxJax Fail Safe

Does anyone know if there is a fail safe built into this lift? For example, lets say I am lifting my truck to the top position and one of the hydraulic lines bursts? or a fitting explodes? Normal lifts have ratcheting stops that are passed as the lift rises. Would a hydraulic blow out or leak...

    MaxJax and Crew Cab

I believe the 6000 lb rated capacity still carries a hefty safety factor, so I'm sure you are WELL below the actual limits of the lift.

    liftmaster 3800 model problem?

I had the same problem, and it was solved by raising the ends of the tracks slightly, so that the door is sitting at a slight downward angle at rest. Remember, these garage door openers dont push the door down, the simply guide it as it drops down. And if the door won't drop on its own and the...

MaxJax Transport, Install, Impression, and Comparison

I bought my lift from costco today. If anyone has photos of the lines running up the wall, across the ceiling and back down to the columns I'd appreciate it. Also what kind of longer lines and connectors to get? Part numbers? Where to buy? A clean installation is very important to me... I'd...

    5hp 60 Gallon HF 2 stage Compressor

Hmm.. I wonder how the IR 5hp SINGLE STAGE produces 18.1 cfm @90, and the HF 5 hp TWO STAGE produces 15.8 cfm @ 90? That IR is nice though but I don't like the 135 max psi. It would probably be fine for me though.

What kind of screwdriver do I need for this bolt???

the oval on the OP's screw looks recessed into the screw. Those links and photos show screwdrivers that are made for taking out screws with protruding oval heads. I found this link to repairing nespresso machines, but is shows the oval on the screwhead to be the protruding type...

What fluid or oil do you use to wipe down your tools?

what about running a dehumidifier constantly in your shop/garage? many of them have hoses you can run right into a drain or outside somehow so you'll never have to empty the tank. Plus most have dials where you can adjust the humidity level and it will cycle on and off automatically.
