    Harbor Freight Impact Universal Joint

I broke all of the ones I've owned, The pin kept snapping out and everything went flying. I got sick of getting them warrantied and purchased the pinless matco(craftsman) versions. I tried to secure the spring/pin numerous ways and was never successful. This was in a professional environment...

I have both of what you talked about and a set of the platinum brand. The new EZ Reds are very bulky compared to them. I'd go with the gearwrenchs or if you want the reversible I'd go with the Platinums or Mountain brand.

New to me Snap On Roll Cart

I'm jealous, Those don't go under $900 used around me. I'd like to find one to replace my matco tool cart.

    Let's see your toolbox.

Picture of my little Matco box/cart when I first bought it brand new over a year ago. Wasn't planning on buying it but I was offered a great price. Since then I've added a side shelf and a bunch of tools.

best 1/2" impact gun under 200 new?

Save a little more and get the IR 2135 ti or the newer 2235. I've had my 2135 ti awhile in a professional environment and haven't been let down yet. Powerful and lightweight

I like them, they get used often. The offset is a great feature that helps out in a lot of situations. I've put a lot of torque on these and haven't had any trouble. I tend to grab them more often than my gearwrenchs because of the reverse feature.

Cheapo HDX screwdriver set I think I picked up for $10. The whole set had 50+ pieces from Home Depot. Theyll get put into the truck tool box once I upgrade to a quality set.

    which gearwrench

How often do you need an open end? I love my XL flex double box Gearwrench 120xp's but I also need open end a lot. They are very long by the way, great for that extra torque but limited with space.

I've been using these since Christmas and they great. I wish the fitment was tighter on fasteners but all in all are awesome. Btw they're a good amount longer than the fixed head version.

They stay in place nicely. I haven't had one wrench fall out. Our snap on guy said he was quitting for the last 6 months so he stopped stocking up and lied about ordering tools. Well he isn't leaving now so I finally got my wrenches. I was going to boycott but I can't do without at the moment.

Yeah I would of never thought I'd spend that much on wrenches but after borrowing them from other technicians I had to buy some. They grip so well and work perfect for alignments.

I should have worded my post better. I ordered all the SO big wrenches on eBay for $20 each shipped, they all look brand new. The screwdriver set and alignment wrench came out to around $120 off the truck. Searching eBay for awhile helps the wallet. I ordered my flank drive plus 10-19 for $350...

What's on your tool buying list for 2015?

Well the snap on guy came by and I took care of the flank drive plus 10-19mm set. I also got a few larger sizes for doing alignments. I can't afford it but who cares! Lol
