I bought the same Dewalt Mid Range impact and it has been great. I too had the batteries on hand. It took off a friends F-150 lugs easily in the salt covered roads of Michigan.

Don't know where in Michigan you are but Winder Police Supply in Southgate is an Authorized Streamlight facility. They have repaired several lights for me at no charge. Even upgraded electronics in a Stinger. Good people.

+1 on Surefire customer service. I lost the tail cap spring for my Peacekeeper. I emailed them telling what happened and they sent me a brand new tail cap in three days free. Great company with superior products.

Hello Moosefire. I bought the Dewalt 1/2" pin-mid range impact some time ago. I have no trouble just pulling off my Tekton impact sockets. Some have said they are hard to remove, but not mine. Maybe the luck of the draw. The mid range impact is pretty strong. I think it's rated for 333Ft...

I know it's not electric, but I've had my Honda Harmony twenty-two years and she's still going strong. Rear wheels, clutch cable, and blades are all I have needed to replace.

Used one for two years in our shop. It is calibrated to 4% accuracy in the clockwise direction. The company we sourced for calibration reported that it was always within the specified tolerance. It saw a lot of use as a production verification unit. Good luck with it.

+1 on the Dewalt DCF894 mid torque. Took a friends F-150 lugs off like nothing. They had been torqued to 150 ft lbs. Great tool.
