In my experience Gardener Denver is good but a little loud. My company uses Atlas Copco. The newer units are fairly quiet and we've never had any problems.
When bending aluminum there may be marks from the bender on the inside & outside of the corners. It all depends on the type of bender as to the severity. There should not be any surface scratches & the holes should always be deburred. I would send them back.
Hey rmchrgr, my first car was a 71 Dodge Dart with the 225 slant six. Unfortunately it was butterscotch orange. I had big dreams of putting a 318 or 340 in it but it just never happened. Keep up the good work with the garage and the car.
Years ago I went to a Snap-on tool show where they had one of the dealers truck up on 4 boxes. They were selling boxes like hotcakes, including the ones under the truck!
