Yea sanded 3/8 way easier then drywall and very easy to paint or looked good raw but definitely helped with brightening it up with out the led lights which are coming soon.

One wall done, now I can move everything against the wall and start to get all the construction tools out of the way.

Got the lower paint done just need to hang the base and red stripe then i can move towards the rear wall which im gonna do reclaimed wood above the diamond plate to get some old school garage feel in the garage.

From looking at the pictures above could anyone be able to tell me where the best place would be for the heater? The gas line enters between the overhead and man. door at front of garage. Was thinking of a ceiling mounted heater. Thanks all!

Thanks to the weather and a small electric heater I was able to get garage around 70 degrees to start getting some paint on the walls. Its amazing how much brighter the work space gets with a little paint.

Good info thanks, figured above 50 should be good for a day or two. The garage is sealed very well and reached 60 the other day with just that small kerosene heater going for a few hours. No money for the gas heater this year, but next year it will be up.

How long before and after i paint should have the heat going in the garge to dry properly and about how warm?

Onto the inside i pulled new 100 amp service to garage along with gas lines. After all the debate on wall coverings i knew i didnt want drywall but wasnt to keem on the all the work to paint osb. I found 3/8 barn siding that was preprimed. Its strong for what it is and helps as sheathing. Sealed...

Threw up the new garage door and all the trim to get it air tight. Then skip ahead to the inside, i didnt take any pictures of insulation but sealed evry gap and put r19 in walls. Got free blow in insulation about 30 bags i blew in the ceiling which was a ton, rvalue somewhere in the high 20’s...

The next weekend was fascia and soffits and man that stuff took as long to do as roofing the place. Learning curve as i went but looks good.
