Yup. Although in my luck dealing with off brand batteries (of all sizes) is that the mAH is vastly overstated.

With capacity like that I just assumed LiIon as I don't remember any 3Ah (3000 mAh) NiMH batteries. It may be worth it then.

Given that LiIons worked hard or discharged too much tend to start fires I'm not sure I'd trust a knock off battery to have good protection circuits. I wouldn't want, say a drill or saw to catch fire while I'm working with it.

I thought I read here that they were moving them to China too and that new sockets are made in China now. Home Depot, Lowes, and Harbor Freight are all open similar hours and IIRC will warranty their tools there as well. All depends which is closer to your home or shop.

I'm pretty sure all of the Red and black chargers will charge all of the different chemistries (NiCd/LiIon). It will say on it if it's the Multi-chemistry charger.
