    My new favorite pliers

I have a few different Japanese made pliers from different companies. The ones that come on a card all had their text in Japanese. It seemed odd to me too but it doesn't affect the quality or the usefulness. I personally think the Japanese pliers are excellent tools.

    My new favorite pliers

I've always wanted a set of the Snap-On's but out of my budget. Very nice pliers.

https://www.amazon.com/Igarashi-Plier-straight-HLS-300-4953880166235/dp/B002PK0JOK/?tag=atomicindus08-20 I bought these on a whim last October and put them away in the pliers drawer. I took them out a couple time for various tasks and am so impressed with their versatility and usefulness that...

Another One Gone - Wal Mart and Hart Split the Sheets

Ollie's here has had Hart cordless tools for awhile now. Pretty small selection but I'm in a very rural area.

People who buy tools they will never use

It never ceases to amaze me. From the HF and Snap-On debates to the tool collecting stuff. Why would anyone care how others spend their own money?

I like tools. I use tools. I buy tools. I try to mind my own business.

Nut Drivers (new or old) show them here

The handles on the King Tony drivers strongly resemble Witte handles.

Nut Drivers (new or old) show them here

I have the Craftsman SAE/metric set in the soft case. They're nice enough, I guess, but nut drivers are a tool I rarely ever use.

    Dewalt Emglo Compressors

I have an olde Emglo that I bought in the early 90's. It has held up remarkably well. I was a building contractor back in the air tools days and it worked very well for that. Still does when I ask it to. As for a shop compressor, they don't have enough volume to do much of anything but nail...

Went to an auction this weekend

I unapologetically still use a lot of corded tools. They have served me well over the years and paid for themselves many times over. Nothing at all wrong with innovation and I understand younger people's disdain for them. But I still enjoy my shop time and can still create nice things with them.

$20.00 Felo screwdriver set w/free shipping

Certainly not their top of the line but at four bucks apiece I consider it a deal. The free knife is icing. https://hausoftools.myshopify.com/products/felo-0715765231-sl-ph-screwdriver-set-5-pc?utm_source=Klaviyo&utm_medium=email&_kx=0QtDaqBSWznBHzegTGjkMD7Nn-LbKbLbxmkcz0fEBRw.UfCVye

This seems like a decent price for a ratcheting screwdriver. Certainly not a premium brand and I don't need another but passing it along. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FNM66B1G/?tag=atomicindus08-20

Is the Den of Tools a shill?

Obviously tool test videos have a legitimate audience. No offense to that audience when I say that I just don't get it. I don't find them entertaining or informative so I don't partake.
