Who's the go-to for impact bits these days?

I'm very happy with Vessel. They last a long time.

    2025 tool truck sightings.

Where have you been hiding, man? I miss you.

Extra long extensions. 24 inches and up. Do you use them?

Removing and installing the reverse drive motor on my wife's Harley Tri-Glide.

    I don't want a track saw !

My track saw basically sits unused. I used it maybe ten times after I bought it and now wish I had followed my own advice and not bought it. With infeed and outfeed tables on my table saw I can do what it takes me ten minutes of setup with a track saw in just a couple of minutes on my table saw...

Tekton push button adjustable pliers pliers?

Maybe off topic but I have both the Alligator type in both Knipex and Klein and the Cobra type in Knipex and prefer the Alligator type adjustment. I just can't get myself to like the push button adjustment in either the water pump pliers or the Pliers Wrench. I find that adjustment type to be...

Tekton push button adjustable pliers pliers?

Good to see. I'm all set but good to see Tekton getting in the game. BTW, I believe it was Fedwrench that called this in the screwdriver thread. Good call.

    Saw Blades?

I forget the name now but for metal the blue ones are the cat's ***. Far better than any of the white bi-metal ones that are available everywhere. I haven't seen them in quite some time.

Amazon Deals on New Retail Items - Post them!

I don't think I'd like having to remove and reattach the socket every time I change directions. I almost pulled the trigger but that concept doesn't appeal to me. It is cheap for a Gedore ratchet though.

    Wurth Wrench Set users?

There used to be a Wurth rep in here. As I remember they said the Zebra series was made in Germany. My memory isn't the greatest and things like that change fast so don't bank on it today. As to the actual inquiry, I have not used their combination wrenches.

    The VISES of Garage Journal

This is in a local auction with no description. I'm not sure if it's worth anything but am sharing it because I thought others may like seeing it.

    New Toptul seller?

My apologies for the post. I wasn't aware of this seller.

    New Toptul seller?

I saw an ad for this seller and thought I would share it. I don't have any Toptul tools and I know nothing about this seller. I only know those that have them speak highly of them and that US distributors are seemingly hard to find these days. https://wrenhandtools.com/home-page/

    Socket suggestions?

Tekton is hard to beat for value and service. No frills on their sockets but they fit well and hold up well. There are many adequate mid-range tool companies out there these days. I believe that as long as you don't buy the cheapest **** available you will get decent sockets from a multitude of...

Confess: What Tool Did You Not Really Need But Bought Anyhow? (Silly Stuff Included)

Track saw. I used it a few times to get the feel for it but now it just sits.

What is your favourite tool to use

Router and router table. I also like the feel of a nice ratchet but I rarely work on vehicles so they often sit for months in a drawer.

Where can I get this tool for removing pins from conveyors?

    https://www.kctool.com/felo-100mm-tack-claw/ I found it.

Where can I get this tool for removing pins from conveyors?

Felo has a tack puller that resembles that. I forget where I bought it.

Amazon Deals on New Retail Items - Post them!

Yes. That's what they sent. I've never seen one like it or the fastener it fits. Not sure how they concluded that it's a T50.

1/2 ratchets, flex head, snap on/gearwrench etc?

I'm a dinosaur. I still use my SK roundhead with long handle and flex. I also use a Gearwrench 84 tooth which I switched the guts to Matco 88, I'm sure there are better and more convenient out there but both of mine work just fine for my needs. The GW has a sloppy flex which I never liked but it...
