Harbor Freight 3 Ton Daytona Jack Versus Snap On FJ300 Jack

Yep, there is a distribution center in Dillon, SC. I didnt order from the same person you did though. I assume they are actually coming out of the HF warehouse but I wonder if they are paying using some sort of stolen funds (i.e. gift cards) and basically laundering the funds through paypal...

Harbor Freight 3 Ton Daytona Jack Versus Snap On FJ300 Jack

I already got my money back even though Ebay cancelled the transaction for fraud, they still wanted me to go to the resolution center to contact the seller and allow 7 days for it to be resolved. Their whole customer service is built around not being able to get in contact with them and that...

Harbor Freight 3 Ton Daytona Jack Versus Snap On FJ300 Jack

I ordered one as well. Definitely, looks suspicious but PayPal has a funds hold for new sellers of up to 21 days. If negative reviews start popping up or mine doesn't ship this week, I will begin the process for a refund. Shipping a 100lb package would approach the price I paid based on my...

Engine support bar on 01 Accord

I didn't touch that mount when I replaced my 2000 V6 Accord transmission. I supported the engine from underneath using jack stands with wood underneath the oil pan. I dropped the subframe and slipped the transmission out. The biggest mistake was I missed a connector that was still attached...

http://www.royalsupply.com/store/pc/Wright-Tool-9418-11-x-12mm-Ratcheting-Box-Wrench-6-Pt-Rev-Metric-p50224.htm Look at the image from that page that has the catalog from Wright. The correct product is 12 point. It looks like Royal Supply is the one who submitted product description and it is...

Why I buy from Harbor Freight - No bashing!

Conversely, how many technicians struggle to make ends meet because Snap On tools are expensive, given credit much too easily, and load up on tools before they have even made a decent paycheck? Probably far more than 11,000 :shocking:. I would argue that some of the HF tools are far from POS...

    Vise I.D., worth asking $?

I can see that its a Yost made in Muskegon, MI. Seems to be a fair price and worthy of a restoration IMO.

    Show your new tool arrivals

I cant make up mind if I want the HC50 or the Zebralight H600FW Mk II or H602W. Those Zebralights put out a whopping 1000 lumens but are more expensive. I was thinking of using mine for some outdoor activities as well.

    looking for a socket set

When the Dewalt 204 Piece Set goes on sale for below $150, I think it is hard to beat. The case holds the sockets in place very well. The set isnt without faults but its pretty solid. Personally, I think its nice to include the other tools in like Hpozzouli said so I dont have to add a second...

Thank you. If you select length as long, it will filter out the most of the wrenches and leave you mostly full polish industrial (use this link)...

New Lowes socket organizer (not hansen style)

Search for 338551 on the lowes website, there is something weird with trying to link to it. There is a review on the Truckin website and other rails here: http://www.truckinweb.com/editorial/1307_truckin_tough/. Its the third one down. I have been thinking about getting it myself but...

EZ Red Flexible Ratchet Wrench broke today

Some of you guys should try out these Steelman Pros 96746 when you get a chance. I posted about them before but I havent had a chance to use them. I am just a DIYer so it would be good to see how they hold up in a professional environment.

Steelman Pro 96746 Wrenches - An updated version of the popular EZ Red wrenches?

Yea, the only downside for me so far with the EZ REDS was the switch would get bumped sometimes in locations that were very tight. Thats why I decided to get these Steelmans. To be honest I probably could have lived with it but I guess I have a tool addiction.

Steelman Pro 96746 Wrenches - An updated version of the popular EZ Red wrenches?

Yea, I dont know if the spline thing is a real selling point but it has worked fine in my limited use. The EZ Reds come up in conversation for a while till they were discontinued (also were sold as SK and ATD Platinum). Here are a couple threads that I came across...

Steelman Pro 96746 Wrenches - An updated version of the popular EZ Red wrenches?

Just wanted to give you guys the heads up that I bought these and they look to be an update to very popular E-Z Red RM6 wrenches. The set is called Steelman 96746. They have the same metric sizes. Some advantages are: Recessed selector switch instead of the protruding switch on the side...

    HF Underhood work light.

Just an FYI but this is not apples to apples since it is LED(HF) vs Fluorescent(ATD). The ATD fluorescent (80050) puts out 1500 lumens, the ATD corded LED (80351) puts out 1000-1200 Lumens, and the cordless LED (80352) puts out 500-600 lumens. The ATD cordless LED vs the HF would be the fairest...

    HF Underhood work light.

Which model of the ATD light do you have? 80050 is the Fluorescent and 80351 is the LED. Appears as if the Fluorescent puts out more light based on the lumens but I would assume the LED would be more durable.

    HF Underhood work light.

I bought one for 25 and havent used it much but I thought it was decent. Perhaps I just dont know any better. I might have to look at that ATD light.
