    Electric Impacts...

I had the exact opposite experience. I used it to replace the motor mounts on my Accord and the wheel bearing. For the wheel bearing, it removed the axle nut and suspension bolts with no problem. The only thing I think on my car that it would not be able to remove would be the crankshaft...

    HF 2hp 29gal 150psi compressor, thoughts?

The design of this compressor, in comparison to the Husky and Kobalt equivalent, is that it is built lower to the ground with a wider diameter air tank. The Husky and Kobalt both seem to be a bit too top heavy for me but will take up less space in the garage. I am also interested in any...

Can you recommend a slide hammer and inner C.V. Joint puller for a honda/acura axle?

You are right. Seperate the knuckle from the lower control arm and separate the fork from the LCA then the axle should be able to be pushed out. Shouldnt be too hard to pry the inner axle out, its only held by a C clip.

What Brand is most cost effective while quality?

Is the Snap On (Tool Trucks in general) business model sustainable? It seems like a lot of new mechanics are holding the burden of an unsustainable business model but are willing to accept it based on the fact they are USA made tools and their quality. It just seems like there are a lot of...

    NEW tool at Harbor freight

Not an HF employee (thank god :lol_hitti) but here you go. I dont know if its really that great a tool because you get better clearance with a gearwrench or even a pass through ratchet. It might be the right tool for a home mechanic who doesnt want to buy a set of ratcheting wrenches...
