Dial indicator with magnetic base combo.

I'm open to suggestions then, because what you described is what I need. At times, $20,000 is riding on that .001 of accuracy, and if I get a false reading, $200,000 could very well be on the line. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Dial indicator with magnetic base combo.

Set my budget at $100~ Used the promo, figured what the hell, and got another set of calipers just for the heck of it, and still within my price range. What do y'all think? Should I go ahead and order, or perhaps find something else. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Dial indicator with magnetic base combo.

Definitely not aircraft grade or anything like that, but needs to be accurate down to .001 at the very least. I'm going to guess that's not a very high bar though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Dial indicator with magnetic base combo.

Just as the title states, what are some good, accurate, reliable brands? Would be best if I could get both as a package deal, preferably. Here lately I've found myself needing to check crankshaft end play and PTV clearance enough to where borrowing one is no longer an option, i.e. 3 times rule...

Second tank at the end of a small air line?

Fwiw, without me knowing the fine details such as specs, a good friend of mine uses a 60gal tank that the motor/compressor burned up on (more cost effective to replace than to repair) as a slave tank that's filled by his new 60gal IR compressor. He turns it on at the end of the day, and let's it...

SK's New 90-tooth Low Profile Ratchet

Supposedly, they are coming out with complete sets in 1/4, 3/8, & 1/2 in fixed and flex head. Looks to me like they are trying to "compete" with SO as far as the ratchet game goes. One can assume that if those sell well, then comfort grips might be the next thing they add to the line up. One can...

How many ratchets do you own?

9, at work. Mostly SO, 2 72s, 2 F series and 2 S series, fixed and flex for each, 1 proto 1/2" for when I have to beat on stuff, 1 proto 3/4, and one 1/2" USA Craftsman I kinda just keep as a backup. Haven't NEEDED much more than that at work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Matco ADV failure.

Yeah, it ***** sometimes. Which is why I went and got the cheaper OTC to get the job done, and I dont even use the Matco one, it just sits in the box, on the off chance the OTC puller breaks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Matco ADV failure.

Yeah, after doing some digging, all ADV is, is a rebranded Sunex socket. Good thing I got these suckers at 40% off retail, or I'd feel like I got screwed lol. Between the gear puller business, my experience with them selling me rusty feeler gauges and refusing to exchange them literally 5...

    Matco ADV failure.

ADV are the only ones they sell on the truck here, and I refuse to order anything from this dealer. Last time I tried, it took him 4 weeks to order a p522 gear puller, which IMO is ridiculous. Had to spend another $50 on a OTC just to get me by, and I use it more than the matco one now. So I...

    Matco ADV failure.

Broke two 9/16 3/8 drive impact sockets yesterday. 3 year old matco ADVs to be specific. At first, when I broke the first one, I thought "no big deal, these things happen and I have a spare. I'll just warranty it on Thursday." But then my spare broke, not 10 minutes later, in almost the exact...
