Looking for a fairly nice set of feeler gauges to replace my old rusty set that are currently residing in the scrap bin. Budget is about $50, less than would be nice. The Matco 26 blade set seems too good to be true at $17 and has mixed reviews. Haven't priced SO yet.
Open to suggestions...
Got some used GW small ratchet wrenches, 8-12mm, for $20. I can't get enough of GW ratchet wrenches. If anyone has a 10, 14, and 15mm stubby GW RW, let me know, I need to complete a set.

Pretty sure you can't even get an SK set with the same ratchets, extensions, and sockets for this cheap. Maybe not much more, but still.

Around $1400, but you can pick it up on Amazon for $1100. I obviously wouldn't have paid that much. I've actually never paid retail for any of my snap on stuff come to think of it...

Way I figure, I bought 3 ratchets, and got 1 ratchet and all the sockets and extensions for free.
Fwiw, the socket set alone, no ratchets or extensions, retails for $450 ish...
I'd say I made out pretty well.

To this day, the SO dual 80 design is still the most popular ratchet. Only ones I'll spend money on.
Edit: besides the new SKs...

I have no comment to their durability, just that the 120 design is **** in the ratchets. Great on the wrenches tho. I'll buy GW ratchet wrenches all day long.

Kinda what I thought too... guess I should have just ordered a gear wrench set instead and thrown it away bit by bit as I tore it up because there isn't anyone in a 100miles who distributes GW so the warranty is worthless to me, and then buy another kit, and end up spending more money than I...
MOST shops require you to wear gloves anyways, which may be why most professionals don't pay any mind to it. I'll have to look at mine and see tomorrow if there is any line. But what the OP posted, I know wouldn't cause me any discomfort.

The HF deadblows are terrible for sure. I said what the hell and tried one, and it was trashed within the week. Wasn't worth me wasting the diesel to go replace it. The SO deadblows are far better in every way but price.

Good enough for me. I'll go ahead and get the 3/8 then. If they back out, then I guess I'll deal with the eye twitch when I open my socket drawer.

Here's to hoping.
I'm a big fan of smooth handles and tear drop heads. That's the main reason I never bothered with SK ratchets before, I simply thought they looked hideous.
They really knocked it out of the park with the new design.

Anyone in the know if SK is going to follow up the LP90 with a 1/4 and 1/2 drive counterpart?? I really want to try this ratchet out, and as much as guys rant and rave about them on here, they must be pretty good. But I'm a "set" guy. If I have a ** ratchet in ** size, then my OCD dictates that...
