    Harbor Freight 44”

You’re both right. Been fighting the desire for a while now. Just didn’t want to buy it then see it $10 cheaper two weeks later. I know that’s really REALLY STUPID. Ten bucks! This is the lowest I can remember them being but just watch, I’ll go ahead and bite the bullet and get a new 44” and...

    Harbor Freight 44”

Sorry everyone. I know this subject has been discussed TO DEATH. I usually just lurk because I’m not that outgoing and don’t think I really have to much to say that someone hasn’t already said. By the the time I think of something witty to say and get it in there one of you guys not only...

    They were Proto ratchets!

I was going to say warranty them but I read up on Proto's warranty policy first as to not sound like an idiot. To bad they aren't Harbor Freight ratchets.

    Show your new tool arrivals

Well because of this site I've managed to spend some $ and add to my collection but never thought about contributing to this thread. I started a new job a month ago and went from a service truck to a tool bag. I had a Sears gift card my Mommy gave me for Christmas and so with that and...

    Aluminum adjustable wrench?

If you're talking about a pipe wrench then yes they do make them in aluminum, the jaws are steel and yes the wrenches are expensive. I have an 18" offset jaw, a 24"and a 36" straight jaw and beleive me if you use them as much as I did you'd pony up for the aluminum. If it's something to have...

    Uni-Bit/Step Drills

I've got a couple Irwins, one for about ten years now. I used them for the same things you're talking about but not every day maybe two or three times a year and they've held up good. I'm not in that line of work anymore but they are definitely nice to have, they also work good for de-buring...

Questions about 3/4” Impact Wrenches and Air Compressors

Love your country. I spent $900 in seven day, got to see the Southern Cross, and get drunk with a bunch of strangers in a park playing drinking games celebrating Christmas in summer weather in Fremantle/Perth.

Questions about 3/4” Impact Wrenches and Air Compressors

The mechanic at the pipeline terminal I worked at had something like that. It was probably only a five or six gallon tank that had a funny shaped nozzle on it. When you opened the ball valve all that air would rush out instantly it seemed. He'd use it to get the super single beads to seat on...

Questions about 3/4” Impact Wrenches and Air Compressors

I got a Milwaukee 18V impact at work this year. I wasn't sure about electric impacts before but I have to say that I was really impressed, enough to want one of my own.
