Wylie, All electric (no gas avail), and (shhhhh don't tell) over 400 in breakers on a 200A panel. Unlikely the city will approve pulling 100A to a second panel. :-( I have not done a complete load calculation but 2 small AC units, wash/dry, range, fridge and water heater already pushing it.

Anyone in the PHX metro area have experience getting SRP to run a dedicated service to a garage? Looked over the main panel in our home tonight and realized we're already over-subscribed to the 200A service we have. I'm going to contact SRP tomorrow and see what it might take to bring in direct...

They were intended originally to be my 230/50A outlets for the welder and plasma, but I think I'm going to end up putting it in the wall after all.

Hi nadogail, I'm planning on two 50A/220v outlets for the welder and plasma.

Shrug - it's a guess really. 100A circuit was connected to *barely capped wire* sticking out of the roof next to a newer AC unit. Another electrician friend taped it up good and turned off the breaker until we get it rewired.
