    Can this be repaired? Vice screw

    My 1st thought was also that it is acme thread. I doubt if welding will do the job. I would look at cheap scissor jacks that have acme thread. If need be, the nut section could be refused in the repair of the vise

    Got error codes on tail/brake lights of my Mercedes. Solved it by cleaning the electrical connector plugs.

    Thanks. The build was from photos with no dimensions. Only the wheel was not handmade as there were 2 rusty ones lying around.

    In my younger days as an apprentice Tool and Jig Maker we use the same method but used old drill bit shanks which was soldered into place

    +1 for glass bricks. I think in winter you will find that you need the extra natural light without opening doors lor light

    Paint Sprayer

    Lots of over spray fumes when spraying inside. Talk from experience. And also I had 2 different models and mine both tended to leak drops of paint.

    Went into the garage to fetch a florescent tube to do my "What did you fix today" chore. At least that kept the wife happy :beer:
